In Love In Between, the female lead disguises as a boy with dark and rough skin. In Dance of the Phoenix, the female lead also disguises as an unattractive beggar. Both female leads try to find ways to save their shifu (masters). Both go through arduous and dangerous journeys with determination and courage.

The story has a similar foundation.
1. Both leads share a long servant-master relationship
2. the "servant" seems like he has feelings for his "master" but keeping it a secret
3. the "master" doesn't even realise how much he is in love with the "servant" until he gets jealous and feels like he is losing the other
The characters are similar on the level of Shu Nian is quiet like Kang Gook and the master bratty and keeps touching the other frequently just like Han Tae Joo. But Han Tae Joo is waaay nicer than Xie Yan

It's not the gay couples, but the same vibe & similar themes (erotica, betrayal etc) in both movies that I'm recommending this. They're also both pretty heavy.

If you seen the night of the omet II then you may like parallel love because of the plot that include a cross world/ parallel universe intrigue and the love story between an employee and the CEO.

In this one too...the couple work together and are considered idle...it was later female lead finds out that her husband is having an affair with someone in the office...that's when her perfect world starts crumbling

Both is having a very good time travel plot with good storyline. Not too heavy yet really worth to watch, comedy side and romance also perfect!

Both leading ladies have a special ability that is linked with something that allowed them to have that special ability. There is a mystery that entangles them as the pieces fall into place. Everything gets turned upside down. Also there is that dash of romance and chemistry that keeps the pace.

While watching this show i kept thinking about come and hug me to me both felt the same ,the lead male are very a like and their back story is similar and if you look at the posters even they look the same .
I must add that i loved both shows very much but i think i loved come and hug me tiny bit more .

Both dramas are about a person a boy or a girl changing and finding out why they died or for someday or one days case finding out why a girl that looks exactly like her dies and try's to change that while that happens because she wanted to know more about her BF after he dies. And in homestay he is given a body and all he needs to know is how he dies and why he died but he finds out more then just that! FUN FACT!! In homestay the boy liked a girl and she turns out to be something he didnt think she would and in someday or one day both of the boys had feelings for her but its not like who are you school 2015 when they find out the truth both the boys like the same person but its that the first one is in love with the original girl the one that is quite sad and never talks but the other one likes the second girl because she was out going and happy smiled all the time and the girl that was from the future liked the boy that looked exactly like her bf ! So one different thing in homestay it has a amazing ending and in someday or one day it had an ok ending

Both shows have a really gritty, unfiltered depiction of people in poverty, downtrodden by their circumstances and random events that happen in the course of their lives. They also both show the reality of people trying to handle trauma and difficult things that happen in their lives. But both also have genuine moments of connection and commonality with others.

The first 9 episodes of The Light In Your Eyes are very similar in tone to My Mister. There's a certain destitution and downtrodenness, but at the same time, the show has moments of levity and emphasizes genuine human connections and relationships. The characters in both shows feel real, but they also both feel quite suffocated.

I know that the basic plots of these two stories are pretty different, but please hear me out. Maybe it’s because they were both by MGTV, but I found loads of similarities to share.
Intense Love and Love the Way You Are were both dramas that I enjoyed watching when I had loads of extra time on my hands. While the former was about two people navigating through an arranged marriage and slowly starting to fall in love, Love the Way You Are dealt with misunderstandings from the past and new beginnings, as well as a mysterious “balloon disease”. However, while watching Intense Love, I constantly found myself thinking of Love the Way You Are. The relationship dynamics between the leads in both dramas were very similar. They initially were wary of each other, both male leads were like ice cubes that gradually started to thaw out, while the female leads were more outgoing and persistent. Both dramas are hate to love and involve some degree of cohabitation between the leads. In both dramas, the female lead had a career in the spotlight that often caused her a lot of trouble and tested her ability to keep the relationship going. They also both had psychopath female antagonists that caused a lot of trouble and made viewers want to rip their hair out :P The secondary leads were also similar in both dramas. LTWYA’s Luo Yiren and Intense Love’s Wu Di were both very strong, preferring to do things themselves. They were very loyal to the people they served and hated when others got in their way. The secondary male leads were both extremely persistent, even after facing loads of rejection. In both dramas, I was a lot more interested in the secondary couples than the mains but I get that that is just a personal opinion. Both dramas are very light and fluffy, and while there is some betrayal and annoying misunderstandings, they are both very suitable to watch when wanting to kill time.
Anyways, this was a basic summary of what I found to be similar among the two dramas and is obviously over-generalized. They are two very light, fluffy dramas that give off similar vibes.

In both dramas the partners of killed people fall in love with the person who they know/believe to have killed their old love. It becomes a story of much sadness about how they supposedly betray their old loves but also how they attempt to move on from tragedy.
