-both have the development of the story in the university
-the male "lead" is already in love with the other one

The stories are similar but destiny Seeker has much more skinship than the Nitiman so if you like spicy and skinship moments Nitiman is not for you.

Reset is about 1 explosive event on the bus no. 45. The female lead, Li Shiqing, finds herself continously blown up on the bus. As she continous to relive the event, she tries escaping time-and-time again. Eventually escaping with the male lead in one time loop. Unfortunately, she has now pulled the male lead, Xiao He Yun, into the time loop as well.

Shining For One Thing is about a girl who gains the mysterious ability to go back to the past. As she continous to go back, she finds out more and more of why she was there.

They both share the experience of leads who want to help prevent a tragedy. They both have time loop elements and more realistic fantasy than normal time traveling.

They tell about the same time period and even some places are the same. Both mentions on education but Youth in the flames of war's main focus is on education and have less battle scenes. Both of their main focus is not romance but war and political situation. Both have bromance. The tension between nationalist and communists are mentioned in both.

Both of these short films center around brothers who have been historically very close, even in the face of a large circumstantial upheaval in their lives. However, tension gets introduced when one brother starts spending time with his newfound boyfriend.

Both dramas follow Xiao Yanyan as she marries the Liao Emperor and assists him in governing their country and settling wars with the neighboring Song dynasty.

Recommended for people interested in Khitan culture.
Both dramas have a main character that is Khitan, and related to the royal family of the Liao dynasty.

Both Female Leads are writers and kind of have a bold character, while both ML are hardworking and have a similar personality towards the FL.

These two dramas aren't similar if you do not consider the romance and some character aspects.
