This is a movie as opposed to the drama, but this also shares a similar point of love transcending different people during the same lifetime.
If you like plots where the family is vying for an inheritance, you would love Shining Inheritance. Shining Inheritance has a similar pacing to HK dramas (usually Korean dramas are paced slower especially pre 2015 ones but Shining Inheritance is an exception). Both of these dramas are top tier dramas that focus on family, inheritance, and romance.
If you like palace/harem dramas set in the Qing dynasty and want an even faster pace storyline, you have to watch War and Beauty. War and Beauty is the predecessor to all harem dramas that have come out in the past 20 years and is also timeless. You also get to see a young Charmaine Sheh in it. I believe her performance in War and Beauty is what led to her being casted in Yanxi Palace.
No Regrets is 100x more well written than Legacy. If you enjoy 1920s-1950s China, you will enjoy No Regrets as it is more raw (no censorship in HK) and well acted/written.

Let's just say Kim Do-Ki is Park Hae-Young meets Elliot Alderson + Jennifer Check + Amy Dunne + Sidney Prescott + Sam Carpenter + Nanno + Cassie Thomas + Lisbeth Salander. I just started watching both seasons of this series recently and I love how this is a soon to be cult classic in the veins of Mr Robot and Euphoria: I mean you have the iconic merchandise, fashion, characters, plotlines, memes and many more. If you loved Lee Je Hoon in Signal and a sucker for Kdramas with grunge/pastel/Y2K aesthetic, action packed scenes and self aware humor, this one's for you.
Both of these two BL dramas center around a male lead in the wedding industry, who falls in love with a soon-to-be groom who’s set up in an arranged marriage with a fellow queer woman.
