HiGH&LOW is the origin of the series. To understand SWORD and Murayama I recommend you to watch whole series. It is worth it trust me. In H&L we can see how SWORDS bonds like Oya-Suzuran-Housen bonded.

Both stories follow the lives of a bunch of diverse characters along with their sexual lives and preferences in a funny, open and realistic way

Both films are about several old family or society conflicts that emerge during the funeral of one of the main lead's parent (mother or father). Both ML return to their dead parent hometown to do the funeral and problems start.

Both dramas are female-centered and focus closely on topics surrounding sex and intimacy. However, one is more PG in approach, while the other one is more adult.

Both of these dramas are from the same director and with the same style of storytelling. A total of 4 couples (and a mostly off-screen 5th), "comedic relief" support characters, and a trauma storyline (but the nature of the trauma is different).

Both feature a melancholic take of a gay relationship with high sexual scenes. Both are based on works of the same mangaka

Original Japanese 2012 version where two the main characters: Kensuke Komikado (Masato Sakai), an arrogant but shrewd lawyer who has never lost a lawsuit, and Machiko Mayuzumi (Yui Aragaki), an rookie lawyer who wants to help the poor but who is tired of losing so she joins komikado's firm.

One is the short drama, the other the sequel movie.

The pinoy series deals with gay boys in a catholic school and during a church organized camping trip. It is a lot lighter than Original Sin, with a lot of comic relief characters.

Danger Zone 2 : The Sliver Lining is a continuation of Danger Zone 1.

In season 2, the story continues where they try to find the murderer and solve the mystery behind the main casts past.

The environment where the characters live, is the major element in these 2 films. Poetic and relaxing scenes of nature. We are far from technology and we take advantage of the human and animal contact. Their living environment is good for the mind.

Let’s just say that it has the same vibes just different plot and storyline and how the timelines goes by…. It’s a cute family past story thingy that someone might enjoy watching so I think u’ll like it… but for the wig thingy….. I don’t know…. I still need an explanation as to WHY they try so hard for that awkward hairdo…. ?

Both dramas feature the lead burdened w/ a monetary debt to pay off & are working like a dog. Also, their family life is a hindrance to pursuing their dreams.
