Both of these Japanese omnibus films use songs as the inspiration and central message/motif/theme for each short film contained within.

One is season 1, the other season 2.

When We Were Young and Never Grow Old are very similar s they are set in the 90s if I recall correctly.
They focus on friendship and family bonds, more specifically the former.
The way it's filmed and edited is pretty similar.

They both have girls switched at birth. One was raised in a wealthy family well the other was raised in a poor family.

- ML completely obsessed with FL, tries to be with her and as close to her as possible every chance she gets, a lot of skinship b/w main leads

First love. As simple and as complicated. This is about first love, about friendship. Well orange is a fantasy and time travel, but i believe if you're looking for first love movies, then it is great.

I'd say it's quite similar. It's about first love, family, even songs. Yes, songs do have that magic which brings us back to the past even for a moment..

Both are the story of first loves, adulthood and more. If you want the nostalgic vibe, you need to watch it. Ahh we all have that lingering feeling about our first love, right?

Tragedy oh tragedy, this is the drama to watch. You will need a bucket for your tears and i am not responsible for it.

Maybe not that similiar, but if you're looking for tragedy genre, then it is similiar. Want to cry? Need a reason to cry? It's the place.

I would say this reminds me of Mr. Bad for the novel plot stuff… I wouldn’t say it’s exactly the same but at least both should be during their youth… as for the storyline I wouldn’t say too much just that they made it quite familiar yet not… still interesting to me

Thriller/Mystery /Brutal/Violence

Im Ji Yeon is also a main character in this series.

- she wants revenge

overall i just think that our main characters in both these shows are very similar. they are both ISTP also. Both are really good revenge dramas.
