Mahou Bishoujo Senshi Fontaine is a show meant to parody magical girl tokusatsu. The suits are heavily inspired by Toei's Bishoujo Kamen Poitrine.

The storyline is probably different but as far ad it concerned… The characters are quite similar and the background should be similar as well… not sure tho

a female lead who was employed to be in a new variety program with the male lead, filming a project called "freezing human for 24 hrs". After waking up they realized that 20 years have passed by, while they were frozen. Then the story continues when the two relied on each other and fall in love. It was all because of the program that brought the two together

Its related to love food and the corporate world....... kinda. Its about making friends family the grandmother of two of the fl also gets a love interest and thank the lords was i happy that two fl left the guys that they were in a relationship with (they were trash). Powerful rich fl so one of them is i think an investor. She seems like a nice person like xia meng. The male leads well IMO were done very well the writing too but i wont forgive what they did to Brother dai ( he died?) but i really did not understand the need for si mengs character..... i know i m being a bit mean tbh i m just lazy.... ENJOY??

Both are love letter for filmmaking but more importantly shows how good Japan can be when they decide to think outside the box and get those creative juice flowing.

Both have characters experiencing some kind of time loop.
Both have characters who die only to wake up again to try and figure out how to change the ending.

Both series have a male protagonist focused on finding the one "actual" truth and lead an investigation for it.

One is about a chef that likes to discover people's secrets and the other is about a lawyer whom investigates instead of the police and likes to be a chef in his spare time. Both main protagonists enjoy cooking and investigating. Both have an unusual team of people around them.

Both series are with a male lead, which obsession is to uncover the lies people tell to protect themselves and catch the real perpetrator of committed crimes. They have unusual characters and are obsessed with local foods and goods.

The plots between the 2 dramas are very similar. The same events were running over and over again, while male lead and female lead were trying to avoid the disaster and changing the past to try to save lives.

Both story environments are the workplace, also the FL has prior history with main male lead. A strong 2nd ML is also interested in the main FL. I like that the characters in both seem more mature, and emotions are expressed with really great acting.

Basic storyline:
Tharn type - Type hates gays due a traumatising event in his past. He finds out that his roommate Tharn is gay and they become enemies. They keep fighting and somehow fall in love.

Bad buddy - Neighbours since birth, told to hate each other by their parents cause their parents don't like their neighbours. Childhood enemies and competitiors. They hate each other and never stop fighting or competing and soon they become ppl who can't be friends to someone who can't be just friends.

Both are amazing shows and worthwhile.
