Both are detective variety shows where the cast has to find the truth to what has taken place. One difference is The Great escape is where the cast have to escape the crime scene/escape room whereas crime scene's cast plays roles within the actual 'fictional' crime to determine who the culprit was and to arrest them.
Both are detective shows that try to decipher different cases throughout the series. One difference is busted can feel more scripted than The Great Escape
Both are war films about people fighting back against the Japanese occupation in the twentieth century.
Both have large amounts of violence and gory with many fatalities

They are very similar in some ways but after watching the YAMH, I know that it compensates for the loopholes in DOTS (esp when DOTS has 20 ep while YAMH has 40 ep). Although the drama sounds long with the details they added are worth your time. In other words, YAMH has the elements that I was hoping for them to include in DOTS too. I always rewatch DOTS from time to time, and now I know I would do the same to YAMH. I really like how the Xing Kelei and Mi Ka ways overcome the third wheeler in their relationship, very rational and mature yet adorable (for me, the main couple in YAMH are more mature than DOTS in terms of how they handled their relationship, but I do love both!)
Both dramas are pretty dark mystery-thrillers with sci-fi elements. In both dramas, people die in weird circumstances.
MC can see people’s death in the future but instead of dreams it’s from looking at faces

Both dramas are in the sports genre.
Both dramas focus on sports, discovering the confidence in their skills, learning about team play, fighting for their dreams and success.
"|Hot Stove League" also showcases the management of a team and the work that goes on behind the scene, not only in competitions, but both dramas touch on character dynamics and relationships that help the characters grow (lessons).

Both the shows include romance between a North Korean and South Korean individual and have Military Base setup. so we can expect some plot similarities...But since there is a gender role reversal we might get some insight into different perspectives of the situation
A plucky, funny gang of friends helping out their one friend to get into a relationship, an overall comedic vibe with really meaningful romance and other similar topics as well
From the synopsis alone one can see that there will be some similarities between the two drama like it is a North-South Korean romance, the fl is a soldier and the ml is famous
Will update this when it airs though

Both have the slice of life element and a nostalgic feel to it. It is slow paced and has well written characters with beautiful osts and a satisfying cinematography. The enjoyable plot and flow of the story along with the good acting makes the cherry on top.
