The Japanese version of Second to Last Love -- about a 45-year-old single woman who works as a TV drama producer. Starting to feel anxious about her health and her future, she visits an old house in Kamakura where she intends to live with her friend when they reach old age. Nakai plays a 50-year-old government worker at Kamakura’s city hall whose wife has passed away. With both of them at a crossroads in their lives, their fateful encounter leads to romance.

Second to Last is about an adult romance about a forty-something woman finding love and who works as a television producer. She has no interest in romance and just concerns herself with preparing for retirement, but when she moves to a new town, she meets a 46-year-old man who’s widowed and has one child, and a romance begins.

Twenty again is about a 38-year-old woman who dreamt of becoming a dancer in her high school years but gets pregnant, marries, and foregoes her dreams, twenty years later her husband wants a divorce, she runs into her first love again with a second and last chance at love.

Both tell historical story:
- 1987 is about the Democracy Movement which reached its climax when Park Jong Chul, a collage student was tortured to dead
- Nokdu Flower is about the Donghak Peasant Revolution in 1894, which peasants stood up to fight for their freedom, to be considered as human beings

Both have sad ending n need season 2...worth to watch..recommended guyss....korean n chinese drama are the best...u guys need to watch this drama...

If you survived Moon lovers, One and Only must be a great try. Both has sad tragic love story and sad endings. But, both are very good dramas with outstanding actors and amazing plots.

Both really good underrated dramas

Similar story line. FL , although likes ML, gets married to the King and sacrifices her love for the nation while the ML always supports her. so close yet so far.

The same kind of vibe, with gangs, territorial fights, and a bit of dark comedy. Also, there is an unsolved crime in both dramas, and the main characters help with the investigations. The main character of both shows have to deal with coming of age matters.

The female lead in both drama's is older than the male lead. Love triangle takes place in both drama's and both have leads that work as hair stylist.

Both drama's have an older woman younger man premise. My Fated Boy and Find Yourself work together in both drama's. The only difference is in Find Yourself the female lead is the boss.
