A story that opens its doors to the Chinese dubbing industry for the first time and follows a rookie and her toxic boss.

Both main characters of these dramas :
- had traumatic childhood with abusive fathers
- were outcasts
- have similar personality
- had to go against the law to protect themselves
- want to protect those they care about.

Both drama have:
Tragedy, palace intrigues, very angsty and complicated romances, betrayal, loss yet at point they are some very lighthearted moments. Also heavy on the multiple love storylines.

Actually, they are the same. The same plot and the same atmos.
Storytelling and emotions are kind of different and it is due to cultural differences.

In both dramas a woman died in a building. The other tenants of that building are connected to the victim. Throughout both dramas one is left wondering who is the killer and what has happened. Topics such as class-differences, unfaithfulness, lies and manipulation are in both dramas a topic.

Both are very slow and refreshing, with a similar vibe, if you liked one, you have high chances of liking the other :)

If you are sick of BL drama that is so unnatural and with stupid plot, I recommend you to watch this mini series. This one of the realistic BL drama, no cliché plot, not fan service, no sexual or intimate scene. great drama to watch, really recommended. The characters play a good role.

Both broadcasted by wowow. The gist of the story is somewhat the same. The lead is suspect of a crime, she doesn't talk much & doesn't deny the crime. The story revolves on what kind of person is the woman & slowly uncovers the truth of the crime. Both are realistic & makes you ponder on how many more people are forced to be the kind of person others tell them to be.

I have yet to watch this one however, the storyline gave me a similar feel to Mask. While the premises of the two stories are different. The main similarity is that there's a scheme of replacing the life of a person who looks very similar to them. If you like these kinds of drama, you may want to check out Mask. These two dramas have both suspense and romance tags in them.

Both films show an ex-convict who is trying to get on with his life after being released from prison but can't because of society. He is wrongfully accused for other crimes because of his past. We see how his family is affected, as well.
