Both of these series are bromance and beautifully contain beautiful moments between two male characters. Both have a historical and enigmatic genre and are related to the country's politics and court. And of course they are both wuxia.

Nijiiro Karute and Hospital Playlist are slice-of-life medical dramas. Both dramas feature heartwarming stories about the characters. There are no villains or complicated conflicts; just the characters and their day-to-day problems that we can all probably relate to in one way or another. Because they're relatable, it is easy to become attached to the characters of both dramas. Both dramas have beautiful music! And of course, FOOD!

On their differences: Nijiiro Karute is much shorter than Hospital Playlist (9 episodes with just around 45-50 minutes per episode). Nijiiro Karute also does not have romance, whereas each of the five leads in Hospital Playlist have their own love story. NK is more into friendship and found family. NK also does not focus on medical procedures.

I highly recommend you bring tissues with you while watching these dramas because there's a high chance they would make you cry.

In both these dramas, the main characters husband cheats on them and divorces them. Both the main characters meet someone new and fall in love. The cheating husbands are miserable with their new wives lol

A movie about sports and how a team is made. From strangers they become strong team. Each of the members has a background. Each of them has a story to tell.

It is also the ancient academy based drama where female lead is want to be well educated and to have the same rights as men. She is writer but hides her identity and disguise as men to enter academy. Male lead is the typical rich spoiled kid who is not interested in any politics.

Both Coffee & Vanilla and Love Phantom are fast paced, whirlwind romances with generous amounts of kisses ?

Also a reality tv show that shows idols getting closer together. Both shows showcase the idols having fun and doing many different activities. They also have to do missions and games.

The criminal element framework of Mysterious Love reminds me of how it was dealt with in Cambrian Period!!

Both go through reincarnation and have the ML watching the FL. Both MLs have magic and are immortals that fall in love with a mortal. Both FLs change people as they are reborn and the MLs always help the FLs.

Of course there's a huge difference in the plots, but i personally find them similar in the male protagonist aspect. They are both writers with arrogant personality and family issues. The dinamics in the main relationship seem to be very alike too.

They start off very similar with the popular rich lazy playboy bullying the new transfer student who is not having it!! HA!! And now completed, this is most certainly Boys Over Flowers!! HA!!

Both dramas have school and classroom setting where the leads and supporting characters attend as students. Other shared themes include social class disparity, politics, and family dynamics.

They have in common the rivalry, the winning ideas and the desire to offer innovative content. Convincing exposure, planning and genius are key.

The two have basically the same love triangle, with same characters:
- FL is a nice woman who tries to treat people fairly. She works hard for her career in front of the camera to provide for her family. She is played by the same actress.
- ML is a moody guy, sometimes a jerk, who has health problems with his heart/chest (the same word in Korean). He also works in front of the camera, but in better position than the FL. He is first annoyed by FL but after he has accepted that he loves FL, he loves her very powerfully, desperately and unconditionally.
- SML is "the perfect guy", whose only real fault is that he is not the ML. He works in some other industry than the main couple.

The storyline is different, but because of the characters and the feel I'm pretty sure if you like one of these you will also like the other.
