I saw both series back-to-back and I'm surprised they aren't recommended more often. Both series not only has the female lead cross-dressing as a male but it also beautifully portrays the complicated thoughts a straight guy goes through when he develops feelings for what he assumes is another guy. (Serious Kudos to the acting and direction in both series)!

[Personally for me, there's something oddly satisfying about what was always forbidden until 10 years ago was actually a common feeling that people experienced for the same sex]

Same main character actress (Seven Tang).
Under the power much much better whereby the male lead aint having multiple wives and concubines and they dont portrait the internal harem fights.

They both have a kind of same vibe to them but Full House is much light hearted and more comedy in it.
Its a remake of full house k-drama but is much better.

They have a very similar vibe but full house is much light hearted.
Just a suggestion :- If you watch Full house just hang in their for first few episodes... it will get more engaging.

From the synopsis the two dramas seem similar: the FL loses her boyfriend to a rich girl. Then she meets the rich girl's brother/cousin and he falls in love with her and court her. Lub Luang Jai is okay but there is not much passion between the leads.

this drama has like 1/10th the viewership count to that of Goblin's, but something i consider far superior in story.

honestly, i think people who liked Goblin so much should watch this. truly an amazing drama. no fantasy though, and heavy palace politics that overrides romance. but i feel like this is THE drama that earnestly rewrites the rule for a good, heart-wrenching bromance for me, cry me a fckin river.

truly, could not recommend enough.

rating: 10/10.
