Love in Sadness is the remake version of Utsukushii Hito

Both of the female lead have abusive husband and undergone full plastic surgery to
hide from their husband.

Utsukushii Hito's female lead is better because she is more stronger than the
female lead in Love in Sadness

Both have a main character who is a skilled swordsman/woman with their very own killer move that makes them infamous. They are both known to be merciless and undefeatable.

Both of the main characters want to let go of their past and just live normal lives with their new friends and family, but end up getting tangled up in a conspiracy where they must pick up the sword once again to protect the ones around them.

Both of them want to keep their identity a secret, but their previous organisations come back to hunt them down.

Both have absolutely amazing swordplay and action scenes.

Both feature Michelle Yeoh as a calm swordswoman who absolutely kicks ass and has a sweet romance full of yearning and longing.

Both are excellent wuxia films that revolve around an item that everybody wants to claim and is fighting over: In CTHD, it's a sword while in RoA, it's a buddhist's corpse.

They are both insanely cool and a must watch if you like action, wuxia and romance together.

by the people who surrounded them. Both of them came back with different names
and transformed as a new persona to seek revenge on the people who made them suffer.

Both main characters who overcame great adversity to get to where they are, and used their intelligence to help their loved ones avoid danger and achieve honourable goals. Mei Changsu in NiF went through 12 years of extremely torturous treatment (adversity) and carefully planned and schemed (intelligence) to help his righteous best friend to the throne and return the honourable name of his family and Chilin Army. Ming Lan was severely neglected growing up in her house, suffering from a lack of food and chill despite being the daughter of an officer, and lost her mother when she was 8 so that she had to live each day in extreme caution (adversity). She used her intelligence to keep her friends, husband and grandmother from harm from jealous relatives and the royal family.

Whereas in NiF you can feel Mei Changsu's love for his fiance, best friend and former army buddies that he left behind, you can feel Ming Lan's love for her mother, friends, husband and grandmother.

Both series are also well acted. The stories are well written - actions taken by characters have long-lasting consequences throughout the story, and each character has depth and purpose.

They both are based of true events and have political ties. Default also has an A list cast as well and both have time skips regarding the end of the movie. They are both great titles but if you want a similarity to The spy gone north, Default is just as close

Both are fun movie to watch. Main similarity with the main lead. First lack of confidence. Misfortune and failing in career ladder. However, they are great man with great principle. They can lead, they are serious to their duty and task. When assigned an important duty, they gave their all.

In both dramas the lead couples form a codependency bond as a result of lasting side affects from traumatic experiences, which leads to love. Both female leads turn into other people, one mentally the other physically and they both try to arrange the daily lives to hide and protect themselves from being found out. Both male leads are very rigid CEO's of family run companies in which family members and others are using any means to get rid of them, so they can take over the company. Both dramas have a very cute serendipitous second couple love story.

Dear My Name is soulmate-identifying marks AU (=everyone has a name of their soulmate written on their body).

Color Rush is a BL drama. Dear My Name is a hetero drama with female lead being quite tomboyish.
