In both dramas, the main protagonist is a bit unsure about their feelings towards another woman. 'Lesbian awakening' may not fit perfectly, but the characters' acceptance of their own identity is depicted in a light and heartwarming way.

Sweet budding lesbian stories set in a school/university setting. Both have really nice cinematography and soundtrack and have a calm vibe - also, while they're just a quick watch, they never fail to touch your heart!

Lee joon gi is the male lead of both drama, the similarity isn't obvious but you have a mc who frequently gets himself into trouble by trying to shoulder everything by himself, and female lead who worries/cries about him, and due to misunderstanding, she questions his love.

Both leads are talent wannabes that ended up as paid mourners. One is in traditional Chinese funeral that portrayed the job as loud wailing while the other is Japanese setting which was more on delicate manner.

While they are different, i feel that you should watch TWG because it has the same feel of DW. Even thought TWG deals with time travel it has the same feel as as DW since it has a young man that need to dig deep and find that warrior in him.

All about black magic. But in here it's the teacher who is doing the black magic in the most gruesome way. Same as the other art of the devil movie

-Palace intrigues with princes vying for crown prince position
-partnership between cunning ML and resourceful FL, with a love/hate relationship
-in Rise of Phoenixes, FL has to promise her mum never to marry ML, and in Legend of Hao Lan it's the ML who has to take a similar oath to his father, so your OTP is kind of doomed from the get go
-stellar cast of amazing actors, topnotch sets and costumes

I really love this drama.
It has a great school setting.
It has one of the best bromance.
I love the main leads.... Both of them.
The romance is pretty good.
All the teachers are good except one evil teacher.
The ML also misunderstood at the start of the series
The personality of ML in both the dramas is kinda the same - cold, cool & closed off from the outside but sweet and warm on the inside.
This is one of my favourite dramas n highly recommended.

The biggest similarity is that both the dramas take place in a high school environment.
The main leads have a cute romance going on.
There is also the fact that the whole class is like a big group of friends with the obvious foe turns to friend situation.
Anyway this is a really good show too.

-it gives off similar vibes nostalgic and you'll really cry for the characters and sympathize with what they were experiencing.
-the love the FL had for the ML and likewise the ML for the FL.
-bittersweet romance *sigh
- I find the part where HYX still thinks WQS will come back is very similar to WTLOG's FL who still believes the ML(ZY) will comeback
-WTLOG is realistic while SOOD is more of a fantasy.

ps I love them both and they made me cry in every episode?
