Girl's War is the 2nd drama of the T-scope trilogy where as Traces of the hand is the first one of the trilogy. But these dramas hsve entirely different plot though they have only one similarity ie. the T-scope. But both of these are truly appreciable for viewers who enjoy offbeat storyline.
Without the fantasy element, The Rise of Phoenixes is a similar match of stunning cinematography, excellent cast, political scheming and downplayed romance. Both suffer from the dreaded "what could have been" curse of C-Dramas, but if you can make through Tribes and Empires, The Rise of Phoenixes certainly deserves a go.
Investigation Couple and God's Quiz are both forensic dramas centred around two leads with different backgrounds: a male forensic doctor, and a female prosecutor (IC) / police investigator (GG), respectively. The two parts clash in the beginning of the stories, but learn to listen and learn from one another, as that is more fruitful in understanding the reasons behind cases of unnatural deaths.
Tatta Hitotsu No Koi starts off with Hiroto talking about his love that happened years ago, in the Chugakusei Nikki also begins with sensei talking about her love that happened in 2015. Both stories are romance-melodramas.
Both are epic jidaigeki Samurai movies taking place in aftermath events of death of two greatest Japanese warlords. Both are very similar................
Not only the screenwriter but also the theme is the same: a woman is seeking revenge against people in the media/entertainment industry who ruined her life. If you enjoy Black Scandal, you're going to love Black Revenge!

Both are about an "revenge agency" of sorts, where a customer can make a deal to have revenge taken on someone who wronged them. One has more fantasy elements and comes with more consequences, but the topic is similar and both are episodic.

Both are epic jidaigeki Samurai movies about epic Fiercesome battles of warring States period, two of greatest Military campaign led by Ishida Mitsunari, on behalf of his Lord, Hideyoshi. Both feature conquests, exploits of Ishida Mitsunari, great brave, loyal, highly ambitious, wise strategist, war general of Hideyoshi, second great warlord to unite entire land of Japan. Sekigahara is more-or-less like sequel of a kind to Floating Castle.
Both are about Sampoong Department Store collapse and concern suffering after the loss of a loved one.
Both have a simple story and a laid-back feeling. Both movies are about youth and relationships with some really sweet moments.
If you never watch C-drama because the eps are way too many, don't worry. Because Nirvana in Fire won't disappoint you. Personally, I hate long dramas. But this one makes me keep watching it without skipping any of the eps. Both dramas are very unique. It told about brotherhood and guy friendship a lot. The main attractions from both dramas are the strong bonds between the two best friends. Both dramas also have great actings and great cinematographic. You will be blown away by the beauty of each scene and the storytelling as well.
The Prison Playbook is more funny and shorter but it has also some dark cynical theme and storytelling. This drama is literally going to mess around with your emotions. One time you are laughing the next one you are either angry or crying. it's kind of bittersweet.
Nirvana in Fire is more serious but also makes you think a lot. The main protagonist here is very smart (Prison Playbook's protagonist is kind of dumb but also smart in a way). He is very cunning but that's what makes the drama is very interesting. He is cunning for a greater good and the way he is able to get ahead of his enemies is just mind-blowing. if you worry if the story is way too serious, it does have some comedy but the drama genre is more like a slice of life kind of thing than comedy. The story will touch you deeply and if you really really like the brotherhood theme kind of thing. You really need to check this one out. It also has a season 2 with a different protagonist but the background story is related. You can watch the season 2 without watching season 1 but I think I like season one better. But both are really really good.
