Both male leads are writers who are fond of releasing consistent dark novels. Well, there's a story behind, but its story is interesting as characters' real personalities keep on developing. This is beyond a romcom drama! ^^

There's also a connection between Go Kyung Pyo and D.O. characters and the male leads that only them could experience.

Different country but the storyline is actually quite similar! Both leads are rich (hot) heirs but have 'something' that happen to them and their families try to search for them. Both dramas have an ajusshi who wants to prevent the leads from meeting their families. Both dramas have the lead guy fall in love with a country-side girl early in the series. Both series have the leading girl help the lead guy adjust to the new environments. Both dramas have super cute romance/ comedy scenes.

While the storylines are very different, I felt that the two male leads (Seo In Guk, in Shopping King Louis, and Choi Woo Shik, in Ho Goo's Love) were both innocent and lovable in their own ways.

The battles inside the companies of both series seems a bit similar.
Both male protagonists grown up from sleezballs to a somewhat righteous and reliable fighters for the justice within (and even gather employers around them.)
Both female protagonist are neiher too whiney, nor crybabies. Both are strong, yet atractive.
In both series the romance between the both main leads is lacking if it's even there.

Both main protagonists are somewhat violent.

Dramas depicting the love lives and work-related affairs between a woman, which raised herself in her carrer, but it's also known for her savage and bursting temperament & a meek and a not-so succesful man. In both the men struggle a lot under the women's leadership, but gain not only a lot of proffesional knowledge, but also learn to see their vulnerabilities and save them from the judgement of outsiders. In the end both start to compliment each other.

Both have a protagonist that tries to break his prejudice and mistrust of others about himself, but first starts crushing his/her prejudice about others. Both have changed a lot of jobs, before landing amd finding his/her place finally in this one. In both their partner has a calmer temper, but is not a complete push-over as it raises himself/herself into a fighter of some sort.

Main couples in both live neirby to one another and somewhat run to each other even outside work. They grow to like one another- as they start to understand better the problems of the other.

Both involve a man and a woman having the same profession. While the man is considerate "elite" in his, the woman is struggling heavilly both for recognition and with money.

The leading men in both shows are so confident in their abilities and worth that doesn't realise their unfairness to others as it mostly doesn't came with a bad feeling, but is with a rather sharp tongue and judgement. Both consider themself elites. Both are somewhat abusive towards the female lead. Female lead in both is being considerate by them below their level and is a crybaby with a lot of troubles.
