Both have Japanese girl and Korean guy. Same that the other is trying to learn the other's language and they end up falling in love with each other.

Though here, the girl is the one trying to learn Korean.

Both are about a girl that travels to the past and falls in love. In OME, the female lead travels through time and falls in love with an emperor while in TEL the FL wakes up in the body of another girl.

Both are web dramas and are funny and full of eye candy

Both the dramas portray mature relationships of people on their 30s. Apart from the main couple there is considerable story line for the other couples too.

I haven't seen Sm:)e but the description sounds similar to I'm Not a Robot which is about a cynical man who has a condition where he is severely allergic to other people.

Both dramas have mystery and great chemistry from the cast. Mystery features strongly in both, although there is a lot more action in Guardian than I Remember You.

* Main leads have a past relationship which one of them has forgotten about.

The story is not that similar. But both show a famale character in high school, that is envied by her classmates because of her pretty face. They seem innocent, but as the story develops the darker side of both are shown.

They have a similar feel, of course Japanese and Korean culture- though similar in some ways, are quite different. And of course the main character in IL plays 'Go' and in March he plays 'Shogi.

Both are Chinese sports dramas with a similar vibe. My Mr. Mermaid is about a disgraced athlete due to a former scandal while Lighting is about the son of a disgraced athlete. Both male leads are fighting to be #1 and win back their honor. My Mr. Mermaid has a lot more fluff and cute scenes between ML and FL.
