The two dramas are very much alike. What both have in common:
- dead people
- love triangle... kind of
- a loaded chief who is the boss of the heroine
- mix of comedy, romance, supernatural, mystery and crime

Both movies revolve around demons, demonic possession, and exorcism.
Both have athletic female MC and male MC. Both female MC are strong and tomboyish. Wild romance is set with adult in their late 20s/early 30s (female body guard/ pro baseball player) Both shows are funny however i felt Wild Romance to be funnier but at the same time more dramatic. Both are very sweet romantic comedies where personality wins over traditional good looks.
the story is very different and much lighter, but the main couple's romance is really cute.. i find myself smiling when their cute scene started.. hahahaha
They are both about Junior senior relationships
Both are BL
Both have MC who are in college
Also both are amazing BL dramas with Happy endings

Both dramas have a similar feel and start in the same way with a snapshot of the future. Both start from the childhoods of the characters and progress through time. Empress Ki also has a similar love triangle with emperors and kings as well as what I like to call "palace politics".
While both plots are completely different, the feeling the shows invoke is highly similar. Both have absolutely adorable couple scenes and extremely nice refreshing male leads
Both are feel-good, slice-of-life high school dramas that make you feel nostalgic with characters you love and want to root for and best friends who clearly like each other but won't admit it.
Both have interesting stories! Both dramas have ghost romance! Both dramas have mystery to find out why they're ghosts and also trying to bring back their memories.
Also a short mini series with short episodes. Very funny due to physical humor and misunderstandings. Although the story and characters are different. The type of humor is very similar.
Same Director Lin Yufen (who also worked on Love O2O and Journey of Flower) both based on C-Novels, Xianxia with a strong romance core.
Both stories have felines play pivotal roles in the main leads progression.
Both center around a man who runs a place in a zone out of the ordinary life (an inn on the desert / midnigth eatery). Despite wuxia disguise, Ashes of Time share similar slice-of-life vibe that Shinya Shokudo is famous for, featuring several smaller stories of different people.
They have the same kind of fluffy feeling in the beginnings and the way Joon Jae has to teach nearly everything about the world to Sim Chim Chung is similar as Louis hardships to get know the world. So in SKL the girl teaches the boy about how to live a normal life and in LOTBS the boy teaches the girl.
One more thing: in Legend of The Blue Sea Joon Jae forgat Shim Chung because she erased his memories. On Shopping King Louis he also forgat everything because he had amnesia.

While Duel is more suspense thriller, and IRY is more crime solving - what stood out for me was the heartbreaking bro-angst of two characters in both dramas. Without spoiling, you'll realise by the end of both dramas, which characters I might be referring to. If you drop either of the dramas too early, you won't find out :(
