both are about food and how they affect people. they both tell the story of supporting roles (except that shinya shokudo primarily focuses on it) and how they are helped to resolute their problems by the main casts.
they are also both not plot driven and are warm with a great cast of actors.

Similar premise of guy marrying a girl to solve a family member's health problem.

In both dramas, the hero is much older than the younger female main lead.

Both have the same actress with similar basic plot.
***spoilers***

In Scarlet Heart first she's a commoner, becomes a maid in the palace and climbs to higher position. First she loved a married man they couldn't be together and she ends up with his brother who comes the king.
In Imperial Doctress she climbs from commoner to doctor in the palace. Can't be with her first love because he got married, while he's brother the emperor is in love with her.
(of course first guy has an evil wife who wants her dead in both of them)
I think they are both really similar in the main plot and the love triangle.

Want more mind boggling series that gets you hooked on the first episode? SPEC is definitely your next drama to watch. If you like Toda in Liar Game, you'll love her in SPEC.

They both have romance, criminal, and the comedy. Even though LMIYD is about a criminal psychological analyst and YAS is just about some polices, I believe they have the same vibe and the same tension.

Both involve a rich guy and a poor girl. The guys mother disapproves and does everything she can to break them up. There is an attractive supporting male who catches the lead females attention and causes her to question her relationship with the main rich guy. The main guy learns how to act like a decent human being thanks to the main girl.

Small things like that.

Both are set in a mental hospital and have a wide range of characters. Shoot My Heart is about bromance while I'm a Cyborg, But That's Ok has romance. Still they are both movies about healing and helping each other.

Ouroboros is much darker and has deeper plot lines than Bitter Blood, but they have the same feel. They are both about crimes with underlying relationship plots.

Both have male lead acted by the same actor and they both started out their own business and succeeded in the drama. They both have a birth secret and dated with the opposition of their parents. Do watch the drama for more.

Both deal with hidden, twisted societies, where seemingly innocent kids behave maliciously. While Confessions is a film in which several characters develop the plot by making confessions from their points of view, in the World of Kanako, former detective Fujishima has to uncover the appalling world of his daughter Kanako layer by layer. Two very dark films executed brilliantly.

They mention several times Queen Seon Duk and Bidam.
Also Bidam actions in Queen Seon Duk have consequences in Six Flying Dragons.

Other similarities:
- Same writers.
- Politics.
- The "bad" characters are also very charming.
- Strong female characters.
- Both dramas tell historical events.
- Almost there is no romance (Is more subtle compared to SFD).
- Action.

They have more things in common, like the treatment of the characters and the drama structure (the sequel A tree with deep roots also follow the same structure).
