While Tientsin Mystic is more on the supernatural side of things, it does share a similar ambiance to that of AMA.

In both, there's a marriage of convenience between a serious, older businessman and a stubborn and willful, much-younger woman. The men misunderstand the female's relationship with another close male. Both dramas also have rich families, scheming relatives, and a slow, hate-to-love romance with lots of bickering.

Both of these dramas, although from different countries, center around family. Dear Mom has more episodes than My Unfamiliar family and different issues surrounding the family, but overall I felt a similar feeling. From dealing with family drama to each of the family member’s dealing with their own struggles. Divorce, Relationships, Friendships, Romance and Family are all common themes in these two dramas! I enjoyed both very much and hope you will too! *This is my first recommendation! *

Lee Jung-In is a librarian who has been in a 4 year relationship with a banker Kwon Gi-Seok. Yoo Ji-ho is a Pharmacist and single dad who graduated a year behind Kwon Gi-Seok from the same University. After a chance meeting at his pharmacy, Ji-ho and Lee Jung-In start seeing love and relationships in a new light. Both are about life in your early 20's from a girl's perspective, one with the premise of falling for an idol, the other filled with simple makeup tutorials that anyone can recreate.

One has some supernatural elements to it, but both are about what it means to be and feel beautiful.

Both stories deal with feeling unattractive and unwanted by your peers and having the courage to like yourself anyway.

I wouldn't say they are similar in terms of their storylines but they're both about high school life and are easy, fun watches for a lazy Saturday afternoon.
