Later as adults, they reunite again and share the same workplace and fall in love
an additional fun fact: both Lee Jong suk who plays the ML in ODS and Yang Hong Seok who plays the ML in Play Me stared in other dramas alongside Kim Yerim (from Red Velvet).

I’ve never read the novel of Into Racha but based on my observation of the pilot released by DMD…
Both leads are bar owner… so why not give both a try…

But surely they will have a lot of differences… might be the plot, the industry and absolutely the vibes…

A light-hearted series set in high school with a heavy focus on friendships, romance & the pressures to balance school with life. The main couple in the two series are similar; one studiously inclined while the other is a free spirited but clumsy musician, giving that opposites attract theme. Both also hold the same rule, that holds back the main leads relationship; "no dating in the club"

both are historical mystery dramas with plenty of action that follow a trio of characters with different backgrounds who work together to solve mysteries and get drawn into a greater conspiracy. one of the characters is very upright and heroic though somewhat naive, another is scheming but very loyal, and the other is a great martial artist with a troubled past.

If you liked deep in, you might like my stand in. Both storie are about the intense, messy intersections of acting/stunt work, obsessive romantic dynamics, and blurring the lines of reality versus a sub-role or substitute status.
Both plots feature intense psychological power dynamics where the characters play specific roles or serve as emotional mirrors/substitutes for one another, making it hard to tell where the acting stops and real, obsessive feelings begin.
My Stand-In features Joe as a film stuntman and stand-in for an actor, while Deep In follows struggling actor Zhang Zhun and award-winning star Zhen Xin working closely together on a high-tension, daring drama.
