Both detective dramas in a similar time period with science as the foundation of the detective work. In my opinion My Roomate is a Detective is also better executed

Both are BL dramas with red flag love interests, toxic behaviour and love triangles. The main character's life is ruined due to his red flag love interest. My Stand-In is a Thai BL with a main couple while Secret Relationships is a Korean BL with 3 guys chasing after 1.

Strangers from Hell is an incredible psychological thriller K-Drama that executes it's storyline perfectly. It has this way of hooking you in, and you'll remain on the edge of your seat till the end. And as an added bonus, You have Im Siwans hilarious reactions, Lee Dong Wooks great characterization, and brilliant acting from all parties.

Happy Ending is an incredible psychological thriller Thai-Drama which, at the time of writing this reccomendation, has only released a pilot trailer. Still, just from the trailer, it has a uncanny similarity to Strangers from hell. Jeff Satur, the producer, music director, and one of the main actors, is an absoulute genius. The trailer gives just a glimspe of the story without spoiling anything major, yet still draws you in from the first 3 seconds.

Any fan of one show will love the other; I am certain of it. And for those of you who have only ever seen strictly K-Drama's only or strictly Thai-Drama's only, it's the perfect thing to get an fan into something new. Please check out both series!

Both dramas have main character in medical field: "Have a crush on you" have most characters working in hospital, whereas "The centimeter of love" the ML is a doctor, and the FL a pilot.

Commonalities besides that are:
- FLs who are serious about their careers and quite family-oriented.
- MLs who are very career-focused and are struggling/not seeing the need for love.
- Quite slow, but realistic.
- Rather mature characters (HACOY starts off with flashbacks to younger days though).

Since I am making this reccomendation before either series release, the reason for my choice is that the trailers gave me very similar vibes.

Wu has the qualities of a well made action/semi-fantasy bromance series in which the main characters will have to work together to unravel a larger mystery. Happy Ending stars brilliant actors in a plot where a detective and a criminal (of sorts) come to life from a novel, and encompasses themes of horror/thriller in an inncredible way, mixing into mystery. I'll update this as the series offically release, but I feel like any watcher of one would enjoy watching the other.

A Dark Romance with Twists and Tension

If you enjoy the toxicity and push-and-pull dynamic between the male and female leads in *Todome no Kiss*, then *Tempted* (also known as *The Great Seducer*) might be a drama worth watching. Both shows have a slightly dark romance (not too heavy), where the male lead initially uses the female lead, schemes, and struggles with another relationship that holds him back. In both, the male lead realizes his true feelings for the female lead a little late. Both shows also have some humor in them

If you’re looking for a different vibe but still love the tension and complexity, I’d recommend giving *Tempted* a try!

Both Mr. Queen and New Life Begins are incredibly fun to watch! They never feel boring, and the humor is always on point. Whether it’s the chaotic energy of Mr. Queen or the lighthearted charm of New Life Begins, both dramas keep you entertained from start to finish!

This drama reminded me of TOOL. First the ML are both doctors. FL has also an ex as far as I remember. Same Slowburn romance. Sickness with FL's parents. And yes, a HE for both dramas.

Though, Yang Zi is way a lot better than Ruo Han.

Both balance compelling fantasy action with comedy, especially similar in showing more realistic squabbles between elders.
