Both are romcom set in office and their focus is comedy. I like the humor in those two dramas lmao
The chemistry in freaking fairytale is very good and it’s short so it’s an enjoyable to watch for pastime.

At first, in both case, it's a forbidden romance between teacher and student. Then, as soon as this is resolved, it became a forbidden romance because of the discovery a family relationship between them (real or not, I won't spoil :p) . I think Lesson in Love is an adaptation but I'm not sure if it's official.
I don't why this show so low rated. It's really good one. I recommend this because it bit of similar to the first frost. ML seriously love with FL and chasing till end with true love. As well as they have cute childhood scenes. Only difference FL is older than ML lead. Buts it has mostly realistic scenes are their. In my opinion it definitely deserves 8.7+ rating. Good show it is.
Both dramas are centered around family and the children growing. Both dramas happen around the late 1990’s to early/mid 2000’s.
In both of them, the FL was wronged in the past, and after she's killed, she awakes before everything happened and wants to take revenge, she does take it seriously. Also, the ML is a prince and wants to help her no matter what, he falls first.
These shows are similar when it comes to the dynamic between the main leads. While if you are looking for the superpower aspect of Strong Woman Do Bong Soon I wouldn't recommend Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok Joo but if like me your favorite part was the strong main lead and couple then I think you will thoroughly like Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok Joo!
Korean remakes of beloved chinese language movies. Both films are romance stories that also tackle friendship.
Korean remakes of beloved, acclaimed Chinese movies. Similar focus on romance and friendship, both films tell a story that spans several years about the relationship of two characters. They start of as friends but romantic feelings complicate things and damage their bond. Get tissues ready, theyre emotional tales.
Both ML of this drama has color blindness issues. Also, they can only see colors of the FL.
Both are fantasy dramas as well.

The names of the dramas are similar.
In both the older leads go undercover to high school to uncover a secret!

Almost the same time period in China. Although this is not about the canal life, it's still has that community theme. It's similar to Northward in many respect especially because its about family, neighbours, friendship & love. Their struggles in the fast developing challenges of China at the timdle.
Both of the stories takes place in the past and it shows about the struggles faced by the people,in northward it's about five friends and their family hardships but in the life gives you tangerine it shows the struggles of a young couple who grew up together, the story is narrated by the female lead when she turns old,i also feel like the cinematography is similarr, some may like it and some may not, hope you enjoy
This drama has a very similar vibe to 18 Again!
- parents (referring to ML & FL) were madly in love with each other when they were younger
- narrate the stories of both the parents' and children's lives/generation
- young adult parents, so they struggled in raising their children (young dad having to be the breadwinner and young mom taking care of the children)
- parents gave up their dreams for love (and later, for their child)
- parents would do anything to protect their children and give them the best of everything to their ability
- ultimately, both are happily married
