The execution styles of both are campy and comedic, although the cases handled in Unubore are a lot more serious.
Production quality and acting of Unubore are overall much better than Bishoku, which makes up for the lower res, since it is an older drama after all.

Both Chinese Dramas are set in high school, with a group of friends, slice of life with some comedy, light-hearted dramas

WLGYT is from 1960s to 2020s.

MG is from 1980s to 2020s.

Both are crime dramas with MEDICAL INVESTIGATIONS' point of view.
Both have a FORENSIC EXPERT as a Main Lead.

The detective work is started with the forensic expert visiting the crime scene

They have the same tortured female lead that life goes hard on and are resilient about it. The story involves the ML loving from a far unconditionally and doing everything they can to make the female lead life better even without them knowing.

I'm adding this recommendation only for those who've already seen LBC.
If you haven't watched it yet, believe me, you're not missing out. Don't waste your time and go watch something else.

P10L is like a younger, better, more polished distant cousin of LBC in a sense that they're both quite typical cliche university setting romance dramas with multipe main leads and multipe couples.

The dramas Love Endures and Northward have similarities about friendship from childhood to adulthood. One friend becomes a key figure in their friendship, Ma Siyi (Northward) and Yi Fei (Love Endures). The characters are similar and their family relationships are close. Ma Siyi and Yi Fei who live with their grandmother. The closeness of friendship in Hangtian City (Love Endures) and Hua Street (Northward) and romance of Main Leads

They are fairly different, but as I have been watching them both at the same time, I saw some similarities in the love story:
Both dramas have a couple who fell in love while young, where he seemed to have fallen first/hardest. Then there was a painful breakup/separation and years of no contact, before rather accidentally getting back in touch with each other.
In both dramas the FL has some emotional scars/traumas, and the ML is "green flag" and whole-heartedly in love.

Go Back Lover has more typical troupes and stereotypical scheming characters, whereas The First Frost is more believable, solemn and realistic in the character gallery and storylines.

In other words I won't really compare them, but if you like green flag MLs, falling back into love or healing love stories, both of these might suit you.
