Both dramas contain a "fake siblings" storyline with the main leads that eventually turn into love.

Rugal and Taxi Driver are similar, and they have the same kind of atmosphere. Also, in both there are similar cases in the ML.

BL dramas. In both one of the leads (the one who comes from a lower social class than the other) makes a deal with the other lead's father to advance in his career, improve himself and make himself worthy of becoming a part of the family, in order for the father to accept their relationship. Both share complex Dad/Son/Son in law dynamics. The second couple is also similar with a cold guy/clingy guy dynamic.

Thai BL dramas. Both take place in both highschool/college with multiple couples and side characters. One of the leads has a special connection with a 'Frog prince' that is later revealed.

C-drama where FL works for the ML who is a CEO. They had a relationship in the past and they reconnect over the course of the episodes and fall back in love. Not as funny as What's Wrong with Secretary Kim.

- The genre is the same (romance);

- In both shows we see the concept of telepathy. In SJNJ, Sun is able to hear other people's thoughts indiscriminately, whilst in VITR Tanthai and Rarin can only hear each other's thoughts;

- Sun and Tanthai are two very similar characters. They consider their power to be more of a curse than something good and listen to music to isolate themselves. This is why people often think they are arrogant, impolite or simply bad people and, in turn, they try to avoid people as much as they can (besides their circle of close ones). In both cases it's love that will change them and make them a better person.

Very similar setting- Asian Empire theme, main female lead from a different nation, both are pretty and equally witty. Empress Ki is Korean, about a tribute/slave girl from Goryeo (now Korea) who disguises herself as a man and eventually falls in love with a king and the emperor and becomes empress. There is the same strong-willed, intelligent female leads coming up with solutions to problems while others try to trip them up. The cast in Empress Ki are also incredibly good-looking as they were in The Princess Weiyoung. In Empress Ki, I enjoyed the antagonist actress for Empress Tanashilli- she was great, very well-done performance and you sort of 'love to hate' her. I got the same impression from Touba Yu in The Princess Weiyoung. Weiyoung is similar in that Xin'er/Weiyoung is from Northern Liang and has to negate her way through court by avoiding tricks/mishaps/setups whilst also falling in love with the Emperor's grandson.
