Both dramas excel at creating a psychological tension. They delve into the complexities of their characters, making viewers question their motives and trustworthiness.
masterfully builds suspense by making almost every character a potential suspect in a series of disturbing murders, forcing the audience to constantly re-evaluate their perceptions.
Neither drama offers straightforward narratives. They are full of twists and turns that keep you guessing until the very end.

They're both fun and light dramas with a more serious backdrop of abuse and neglect with the main male lead. Both male leads have a tense relationship with their grandparent that results them taking extreme measures - one goes to hide everything he likes and suppresses himself, and one develops OCD and mysophobia. Both grandparent in both dramas get off a bit too easily in my opinion - like sorry an apology is not going to heal years of abuse, but that's just me! Outside of that, both drama feature a boss-employee relationship, plenty of funny moments, and the main message is all about loving your partner as they are.

(I do admittedly like My Dearest Nemesis better, but if you need another drama that's similar in vibes and messages, but different enough that you aren't watching the same show again, I think CWPFN is one to consider.)

Both have a very similar plot. They both feature the girl pretending to be a boy trope and the four-group friendship. Both are set in ancient times.

Both dramas feature doctors struggling to make it in the hospital and doing their best for their patients.

Of course romance is a big part in Dr. Romantic, and we are yet to see how they will play out the romance genre in the Resident Playbook.

Both the Resident Playbook and The Trauma Code are medical-themed Korean dramas that delve into the lives of healthcare professionals. However, they differ in focus and setting.

Resident Playbook is a spinoff of the popular Hospital Playlist, while Trauma Code is a standalone series.

Both dramas explore the challenges and rewards of working in a hospital setting, but Resident Playbook may emphasize the personal lives and relationships of the medical staff, while Trauma Code could focus more on the complex dynamics of the trauma team and the ethics of trauma care.
