Same countryside vibes
Pretty leads
Comfort dramas
10/10
Hometown cha cha cha has very pretty visuals, the city is pretty , the sea is beautiful and the people are awesome. Every character has its own story which makes it so much more interesting and lovely to watch. Similarly the story of side characters of summer strike is nice too.
Both female leads move out of their busy lives and get peace and closure while meeting their heros.???????????????????????????????????

The plots of both shows are very different BUT hear me out! I feel like they are both similarly very fast paced and never leave you bored. While the plot of both shows was nice, I truly think the cast and characters portrayed was what made these shows extremely entertaining. Personally, I thought both shows were bingeable and I would rewatch these shows, especially if I were feeling a kdrama slump.

both are light hearted office romcoms

in both cases, the MC has a double secret life featuring a nerdy hobby ( her private life's FL Stans a Kpop idol, My Dearest nemesis's ML is an otaku and a metal head )

in both cases, ML is the mean boss of the hardworking but strongheaded FL

Both editing styles are similar with special fantasy worlds to depict their hobbies

Slow paced, healing, trauma, comforting male protagonist.

I recommend this after watching the first two episodes. The countryside setting matches When The Weather is Fine's vibe. Although perhaps when the story moved on later to Seoul the vibe from the setting would differ.

But I don't think so with the vibes of the story in general. Overall the vibes are quite similar. The female protagonist got hurt by situations and fates, passed away parents, famous for being 'pretty' and 'jinxed'. Meanwhile the male protagonist is well-liked, calm, but comforting to the female protagonist.

They fall for boys they consider kids coz they are from the future.
The main difference id in DDMY baby girl was focused on school while BtS she was just there for vibes.

Both dramas have revenge towards bullies. Both include high school bullying. The Glory is darker than Study Group, but if you loved this drama, then also give The Glory a try. I'm pretty sure if you watch it, you're never gonna regret it.
