Immediately I Felt these shows gave me the same vibe although RM is shorter. I havent completely finished BTHD but the vibes completely feel the same.

THE DIFFERENT: In "Love Song in Winter" there are repeated misunderstandings whereas in "Love on Turquoise Land" there is strong trust between the couple. The mystery elements in "Love Song in Winter" were almost solved separately by the couple whereas in "Love on Turquoise Land" the main couple struggled together to solve the mystery

Both Japanese drama's although 14 years apart are about pure-hearted otaku's / geeks who initially are quite isolated and reserved. In both they find friends who inspire courage to them and help them make a connection with the world around. Overall feeling in both drama's is that of love and human compassion: feel good drama.

In both drama there is the theme of parallel universes/time travel and there is that handsome and popular×clueless when it comes to love dynamic between the pairing.

It's not exactly the same but they both feel similar in the school plot and the cute school romance that forms unexpectedly but genuinely.
