It's literally a prequel so of course it will be very much similar to the season 3 of the squid game
Another survival show that include deadly games that'd generally be innocent without the guns or other weapons.
It is another survival game but this one has no set up and is more like "Hunger Games" than an unknown higher power running the show.
After a failed business venture, the debt-ridden chauffeur Seong Gi Hun lives his life gambling away the money he mooches off his elderly mother while failing to provide for her and his estranged daughter. When his life finally hits rock bottom, he receives an irresistible offer promising him a ?45.6 billion prize in exchange for winning traditional Korean children's games against 455 other players, among them his childhood friend Cho Sang Woo. Commencing the games, the participants soon learn of the deadly consequences that come with losing.

The moment I saw the title I thought of Black butler - manga and anime. It is obvious that robot from Eternal butler wears exactly same costume as Sebastian from Black butler. Also the whole idea of a bit morally gray supernatural personal assistant called butler who also works in not obviously main character's best interest is exactly the same. Actually Eternal Butler feels like a sci-fi AU fanfic of Black Butler.
Although the plot and the genre and universes are very different (futuristic sci-fi and fantasy), what I find very similar is the insane amount of philosophical references in dialogues. Although said via main characters it feels like a background narrative as they attempt to philosophise every step of the story which doesn't really come to any certain conclusion. Almost like an essay.
***POTENTIAL SPOILER WARNING***
Both shows are BLs aka Gay Romance Dramas from South Korea. They are both about lovers that have broken up and then reunite after about a decade of separation as their connection is tested and feelings resurface.
Differences: In Let Free the Curse of Taekwondo, we see their origin story and what drove them apart before bringing them back together again. In Eul’s Love, it is set primarily in an office setting and according to the synopsis pre-release, it is going to focus first on the reuniting with explanations of the past as it progresses. (Written pre-release Jan 2025)

Both are South Korean BL (gay romance) dramas that take place primarily in an office setting where both lead characters share a past history of some kind and have been (unexpectedly) reunited.
In Jun & Jun, they were childhood friends that had an innocent crush on each other.
In Eul’s Love, they are ex boyfriends.

Fragrance of the First Flower and Fragrance of the First Flower Season 2 are, like it says already in the name, 2 seasons of the same drama.

That undeniable natural chemistry can not be beaten in both of these dramas. I won't say that story is similar but rather, a good story, friendship, supportive character, and the main similar part is one lead leaving the other to not let the other suffer in longing. Go..just go watch it. Reading here will spoil the fun.

Hwarang and Check-in Hanyang share themes of hidden identities, friendship-building, and historical settings. While Hwarang focuses on an elite group of warriors in Silla, Check-in Hanyang is set in a guesthouse during the Joseon dynasty. Check-in Hanyang includes a gender bender element, whereas Hwarang does not.
- From the trailer for Ticket to Heaven, both deal with a lead coming to terms with their sexuality
- The cinematography in Ticket to Heaven reminded me of ITTSAY
- I'm not sure if the scene will come up in the drama, but in the trailer fourth looks into the mirror and touches himself which reminded me of the famous scene in which PP Krit is experimenting wearing a bra
