Both MLs are weak and on a quest, FLs are strong (brains & brawn sort of relationship). Both dramas have pretty aesthetics.

In a course of dramatic events Female lead from small town ends up in a big city where she tries to reconcile with her long lost sister, falling into forced relationship with mafia Male Lead which of course turns into real love. Sister is a singer, male lead saves female lead every 5 minutes, lots of long angry stares which are supposed to be cool. Probable Stockholm syndrome? Otherwise any feelings by FL make no sense. Gets very boring after ML and FL acknowledge their love because there is no further story past "and they lived happily ever after".

Romance-as-business crossed with murder mystery is a rare narrative format. But both The Trunk and Light The Night serve it beautifully. The former leans more heavily into the romance side of things whereas Light The Night delves more into intrigue.

The male lead in LFIS strives to achieve success even after many setbacks and struggles.

Both stories are centered around body swaps that happen out of envy/unhappiness about the ML's/FL's current lives.

Same universe. Anti Reset aired first and takes place before Eternal Butler. Both are Taiwanese BL dramas involving AI Robots that are extremely lifelike and are loyally attached to their “owners”. It blurs the lines of morality and questions if one can really love a robot and can a robot develop feelings beyond artificial ones.

Not too technically involved so easy to watch and digest.

Another movie that tells the perspective of different characters. There are 3 storyline in Anger (2016). Both movies reminds viewers to not be too quick to condemn anyone without knowing the whole story.

-Both male leads are genuinely nice people who selflessly help others and it makes you feel good when it is reciprocated.
