They both feature the adult fl going back in time to relive her high school days and attempts to change their futures by making different choices in the past. They both involve time jumps from the future to the past multiple times and attempts to prevent someone from dying. Lovely Runner should heal the broken heart Shining for One Thing, causes.

One is M/F and the other BL but both are about the love story between a sweet, innocent robot and a somewhat withdraw human. Both robots are created as companions, with the creator objecting at first to the relationship. Both leads separate close to the end for several years, before a happy reunion.

Dramas are not similar but I'm recommending Arthdal Chronicles Season 1 for fans of Kim Ji Won as she was excellent here (as well as Song Joong Ki, who made a cameo here in Queen of Tears). Arthdal has 2 seasons yet Kim Ji Won appeared only in the first season. Season 1 is divided into three parts, of which this specific part is the third.

Dramas are not similar but I'm recommending Arthdal Chronicles Season 1 for fans of Kim Ji Won as she was excellent here (as well as Song Joong Ki, who made a cameo here in Queen of Tears). Both dramas have a similar sense of humor, with a fantasy plot involving some body change. They have similar ost and Choi Jin Hyuk is in both.

Some similarities:

- they have to solve tasks, fight enemies and, above all, survive
- friendships and rivalries develop between the players
- here and there we get a bit of bromance
- we get to know the characters within the game and also get an insight into their real lives outside the game
- they are trying to find out more about the origins of the game
- the main character of Geats and the main character of The Spirealm are very connected to the game for some reason and both are very smart

Some differences:
- in Geats each player transforms into a Kamen Rider and can find or win a "mission box" that contains a "raise buckle", this gives them additional armor, weapons and abilities
- in The Spirealm they participate in their normal appearance and don't transform, but sometimes they equip themselves with items or weapons that they find in the level
- in Geats the focus is particularly on exciting and action-packed fight scenes
- in The Spirealm there is less fighting and a lot of focus on solving the mystery in each level/"door" to finally find the "key" to finish the level
- the atmosphere in The Spirealm is more oppressive and creepy, there are a lot of horror elements
