Both:
- dramas that involves time travel
- female MCs lost their mom and met the younger version of their mom after time travel
- made the main character see their family beyond as their role in their family so this can make you appreciate your family members better

MPS has a murder mystery thing going on while GBC is about marriage issues, very different but both are innately heartwarming dramas.

- both made the main character see their family beyond as their role in their family so this can make you appreciate your family members better

Journey to the Shore is significantly more depressing due to the open-to-interpretation conclusion. But both of these LGBTQ+ short films explore a same-sex couple who is subject to high school bullying on behalf of their identity. The bullying spans violence and harassment, with one main character falling into a relatively apathetic state of accepting the bullying as unavoidable.

*SPOILER*

The conclusions are also pretty similar - with one of the leads being unreachable after an emotional and intimate night together, and then a time skip into adulthood.

In both of these short films, we see a tale of school bullying involving a lesbian character (a main character in Even If, and support character in Kalanchoe) that results in an abrupt end to the relationship as the character decides to leave rather than confront the bullying.

both:
- revolve around hypnotism-related crimes
- revolve around a task force team designed to handle these odd cases
- feature a police captain and a psychology/hypnotist specialist as the main leads
- feature hypnotism as the main theme and asks the question of whether it is good or bad
- feature a mysterious villain who has plotted everything since the beginning
- leads are not friendly with each other at first but begin to grow closer

SCI is more light-hearted, has more comedy and focuses on the strong bromance between the leads. It doesn't have too much police procedural in it, making it a bit more fast-paced while handling more cases.

Desire Catcher is a lot more serious in tone and has a lot more realistic police procedural in it, making the pace a tad slower but still enjoyable. It takes itself seriously and is a bit more graphic in the cases they deal with. The leads slowly come to like each other and work together.
