what's similar about both?
- code blue and dr. romantic both have 3 seasons.
- medical dramas.
- code blue 1 is more in the hospital while the other 2 seasons are more of outdoor (similar to ep 9-10)
- talks about doctors' struggles.
- code blue has lesser office policies but does talk slightly on law.
- how doctors put their patients' lives first.
- both are hits in their selective countries.
- able to learn about medical stuff + many surgical scenes.
overall, it is a rather good watch and explore japanese medical drama. the drama is rather well-done but lack of recognition globally. if you like dr.romantic, i believe you will like this too!

Both cover artisans who are a master of their craft. Hi Producer is part drama/part documentary about artisans that are trying to preserve the tradition of their craft. Masters in Forbidden city is a documentary about artisans who work in art restoration. If you appreciate the art in one, there's a good chance you'll like the other. There is a shorter movie version available of Masters in Forbidden City.
Both genres tackles about realities of marriage. Main Couple almost have the same character wherein FL wants to be a full time career woman while they both married an IT guy.
FL here have well off bestfriends who's there for her most of her down times same goes with TCAM, FL has a rich bestfriend who's always there to the rescue for her.
Both dramas tackles issues on infidelity, however, it is not much emphasized here compared to TCAM which is the main concern of the drama.

Both female leads start something again in their 40s that they couldn't do in their younger days.......................................................................
Similar due to the mix of the Jianghu and palace concepts. Both are palace dramas with wuxia elements, although Who rules the World is more leaning towards wuxia with palace drama, while Story of Kunning palace is more palace drama with wuxia.
Both also have strong female leads who are very smart.
Both also have strong female leads who are very smart.
Both are palace dramas with love squares. 3 powerful men love one woman. A lot of twists and turns and a lot of angst. But very well-written story and great acting in my opinion.
Both are mini dramas in which the ML (wrongly) believes the FL has betrayed him or harmed his family and he keeps her prisoner. Both MLs are very aggressive and toxic, and there is a SML who appears to like the FL and is trying to remove her from the house where she's being held, as well as an evil and scheming SFL.
I find that both are really similar because of the courtroom setting, the male leads are lawyers and the female leads are both strong. I really enjoyed both dramas as they had a lot of action and romance.
Both are historical dramas in which the FL is the ML's servant. Both MLs have secret intentions or identities, and the FLs are strong and skilled. The leads have a bickering/enemies to friends/lovers dynamic.
