I literally finish both series back to back. I first started with Meet Yourself. I cried it was a beautiful drama, slow pace for sure but it had so many wonderful side characters and the chemistry between the leads was so beautiful and meaningful. When I started Summer Strike I couldn't help but think back to Meet Yourself. The death of a loved one triggers something inside of them. They move to an unknown place and befriends the people of the town. The only difference between the drama is that Meet Yourself has more of a mature love line and has more comedy mixed in.
Both:
- dating shows which aims for marriage and specifically in Love Village case, their final partner in life
- involves cohabitation (like any other dating show) but what I like in Love Village, the daily tasks are centered on living a life in the village like room renovation and growing their own food (although they buy grocery items too), so it felt that the relationship seems more organic(?)
I highly recommend Love Village to anyone who prefers more vulnerability and more emotional journey of people finding love. I cant believe I cried this much watching this dating show.

Both are historical dramas with smart, resourceful female lead who makes her own way in the world. Both feature a mix of comedy, romance and political struggle.

The humor style is kinda similar vibe. If you find brainworks funny and interesting, you might find the same with Fiery Priest.
While MGIAA is definitely more trashy (but fun) than Lost Romance, I feel they are overall similar in terms of the ML and that the FL is out of place. In one drama she’s an alien, in the other she entered a comic book.
Also I feel the couples kinda look similar?

From Trailer- Grey Male Lead and Nice Female Lead, vibes similar to TTEOTM! Great Visuals and both shows are of YOUKU channel!
From Trailer- It gives similar vibes to LBFAD and seems to have that beauty and the beast concept going on as the plot!
similarities:
- both are mixtures of modern/historical fantasy with characters being reincarnations of their past selves.
- both involve supernatural elements with human/animal spirits, demons and relatively ok cgi (lmao).
- both feature an extensive amount of characters that all relate back to the two main characters, both in the past and present.
- both have a main character who waits thousands of years for the reincarnation of the other lead, who has forgotten their shared history.
- has all the friendship, brotherhood and hints of something more to satisfy your [b]romance needs.

Both are short movies about a brief reunion and then parting of a LGBTQ+ couple. Both have the same bittersweet tone.
Both are mini dramas in which the troubled FL begins to suspect that her husband is lying and manipulating her.
