Similar setup. ML is royalty and bodyguard is best friend. Bodyguard has marriage with officers daughter that gets botched. She assumes a different identify. She helps the prince while in that identity. Potential die love triangle, shaman elements highlighted. Also - Female lead has Supporters who are interesting characters living outside palace. So far though - Our Blooming Youth seems to have less comedic elements.

Both are about a student falling for their tutor, with the difference being they're gender-flipped of each other, and one is an age gap while the other mains are close in age.
Both of these BL dramas center around an up-and-coming boy group. Despite rules against dating, two central characters take a turn from rivals into lovers.
This drama also includes a writing as an occupation of the main character. And It's the reason all the story line is developing.
Plus it also has a relationship from the past, which reasons the behavior of the characters in present.

Mame's "The Boy Next World" BL focuses on the characters Cir and Phu who are a secondary couple in TharnType 2.
Both are about a couple who break up then meet again years later. Both FLs were very naïve when they were together and have now become more mature and both MLs are colder personalities. While the plot is very different otherwise, both dramas have a similar feel to them in the relationships.
Both are about the legendary Hua Mulan.
Both make use of similar tropes, and due to the nature of the endings, I think one inspired the other.
-Both set in school and involving crushes and relationships, trying to confess, first loves, etc..
-Light-hearted
-Cold hearted and sightly intimidating looking male lead actually being soft and friendly
-Love triangle

Both Male Leads are famous e-sports stars.
Both Female Leads are talented in the arts and cross paths with the male leads by fate/coincidence.
The supporting characters in both dramas are just as interesting - cute side love stories.
Lots of chaotic drama - jealousy and relationship issues.

"My Eternal Star" and "Falling Into Your Smile" are such cute chinese romance dramas.
Both male leads are legendary e-sports celebs (the best in the industry) and has a cold outter personality. In other words, they come off as rude and arrogant at first. ofc, they later start to open up and be soft to the female lead.
Both female leads are hard working and petite. They got that fragile and innocent vibe despite being rough with their friends (and the male lead).
The female lead's bestie also have similar personalities where they are more elegant and classy.
The male laead's friends (which are their team members) are also very similar - Cool and outgoing.
Both stories are taken in modern/current day - modern spaces.
To personally add, I think the production and overall story is on the better side of other chinese dramas. if you like one of these, you'll most likely like the other.

Although one has fantasy elements and the other doesn't there are some similarities in the overall vibe of the story.
Similar ML - Popular actors with issues regarding women and personality, actors also have a very similar style.
Similar FL - not at the core - but mainly her strength and interaction while working as a double in action scenes.
Male falls first and the awkwardness of their approach is also similar.
You will love both!
