It’s a family story, going through hard times and moving on too. Just like the story I cried a river not just one actually but many I cried whenever it came up on my mind for quite a while. Although it’s not real story like this movie this is also a very realistic and grounded movie. It can me u smile a big at times but really the story is very sad but the ending is not entirely tragic although they did lose ppl they treasure in this movie too.

Through the darkness covers multiple cases and is semi-non fictional and ANKH covers one case. I also found Muro Tsuyoshi’s character and portrayal to be similar to Kim Nam Gil’s character too.

The female lead is a strong woman with her own believes and is hardworking. Her romance with the second male lead is more of a forced one and she puts an end of it, but he still has a great admiration of her at the end.
