If you liked One Day, You Will Reach the Sea, you might like The Phone of the Wind. Both has a genre of drama and a story that displays of intense emotion and experiences on how the characters can move on after someone you love disappeared. These movies also tackles about the lives of the ones who still has trauma to what happen in Great East Japan Earthquake and the massive tsunami. One Day, You Will Reach the Sea, was about friendship while The Phone of the Wind was all about family.

In both dramas, there exists a person in modern times who looks exactly the same as another from the 1930s. The person from the 1930s basically switches places with the modern version of himself.

In both movies I could see lot of similarities such as both movies deal with bittersweet love story. Male lead trying to protect Female lead.Female lead is homeless.Male Lead and Female Lead staying at same place.Male lead involved in illegal activites

Totally different plots at a surface level. Strangers From Hell is by far more sinister while All of Us Are Dead is upfront with its brutality. However, if you enjoy stories that dismantle humanity, you may well enjoy both titles.

Another contrast is that, while both focus on humanity, Strangers From Hell picks normal people apart piece by piece, whereas All of Us Are Dead uses a catastrophe to bring out the absolute best - and worst - of its characters. As far as viewer experience goes, Strangers From Hell twists you along with it, whereas All of Us Are Dead makes you a witness, but you probably won’t lose yourself in quite the same way.
