Chen Xing Xu is the male lead in both dramas. In each story, the male and female leads live together for a period of time as roommates and work in the same profession. My Boss centers on law, while Love Between Lines focuses on architecture. In both dramas, the male lead also serves as a mentor to the female lead.
Same FL, same director, same sizzling chemistry and an amazing OST that will sadly never be released. Will have to do some suspension of disbelief on some plot elements for both dramas, and Embrace is less "supernatural scifi romance" and more "action romance", but if you want a protective ML with ambiguous morals and motives, lots of domineering sexy vibes and kissing scenes with the same overall vibe, you'll love it.
Very similar on key points but don't know why rational life is so underrated! Iti s a very good show with mature and to childish female lead, real kisses and mature ML who si also capable and smart. I like that it also show the tricky part of being and adult woman at work and all the nasty things that may happen is a work environment
