This is a love story between Akira Kuroiwa, a 15-year-old boy who knows nothing of love, and Hijiri Suenaga, his new 25-year-old homeroom teacher. One fated summer, Akira begins to realize he has feelings for Hijiri, but Hijiri has a long distance fiancee. The story follows the pair over the course of several years.

Tohko is living in 1999, and dreams of falling in love before the world supposedly ends in 2000. When she sees aspiring boxer Tokieda Yuji practicing in a park, she falls for him instantly. Unfortunately, in spite of her best efforts, Yuji doesn't see Tohko as a love interest, and is instead feeling his own unrequited love for Kaori, his boss at his part time job. But Tohko is determined to win Yuji, and never stops cheering him on in his dream to become a champion boxer. Will Tohko win Yuji's love?

Kasumi is shocked to discover that her older sister's fiance is the man she first fell in love with five years ago in high school. At the time, he was her high school teacher and ultimately quit his job racked with guilt over their relationship. Kasumi was deeply hurt and struggled for a long time to overcome her sadness. Now the two of them must come to terms with their secret past before the ones they care about in the present are hurt.

A touching love story about a girl, Kano Masaki, who contracted HIV after selling her body in order to earn money for the concert of a famous composer Ishikawa Keigo. After the concert, Keigo saw Masaki chasing after his van. She was drenched, and thus Keigo took her to his apartment, where they spent the night.

At some point, Irie Manato began to withdraw himself from the world. Even when picked on, it's not the real Irie, but an act. However one day he meets a strange girl - Misawa Yui. Yui, who finds the tedium of everyday life unbearable, teases Manato with her almost too upfront and honest manner. Alone and afraid Manato wavers but finds himself drawn to her. But his feelings for Yui are doomed to be unrequited.

- Have FLs redeem and change the nature of the ML through love
- Have FLs risk going through a life or death situation to stay with the ML
- Have a love-hate relationship between the leads caused by inability to express their true feelings

First Love, Again has same overall feeling as Change Days Season 2.
In CD2 the past couples are back trying to redeem their romance, with a twist of dating other participants. FLA is the same but adding honey in it, every couple has broken up and want to see if the past romance is history or if it can be retrieved. The dates are interesting and the scenes in episodes well spaced! The residents are all attractive internally as well as externally.

Butterflies, sympathy for the residents and the lingering feeling of longing when the episode has ended-- can all be found from both of these dating shows!

Both series are BLs.
MLs can see one specific ghost/grim reaper.
In both dramas the MLs know each other when their were children (in DDICFS they actually meet as humans, in HCTM they meet as human and ghost already)

Despite the fact that DV is about a hetero love story and Triage is not, these two are somewhat similar in plot.
In DV the FL also tries to bring ML with whom she is in a relationship back to life by going back in time.
But ML doesn’t remember her let alone his romantic affections for her.
In DV there is also - different to Triage - a SFL who tries everything to get between those two.

Both daily dramas have the same format with similar plot. Both FL are orphans who discover abandoned babies and raise them as their own.

- one is horror romcom modern, another is fantasy fictional historical drama.

- top-notch chemistry between leads

Similar background but I didn't draw the similarities at first
- FL is born with a silver spoon (*but* FL in TLS is currently running the company well)
- ML has a first responder background (good physical ability) and is wise and is appointed by the FL's father/grandfather to take care of FL
- People try to sabotage FL's control of the company
- FL experiences growth in management ability/responsibility
- family secrets/international excursions (there's more in TLS)
- of course, the classic exaggeration of romcoms but it's a fun ride
Of course there are differences...major one might be that SMH is lighter than TLS
