A bit similar story with some different plot. FL is dreaming to join beauty contest but she really had a very low self-esteem. She had a big crush with the most popular ML in her school. In some occasion suddenly she enter the beauty contest. The ML also join the contest. In the process slowly the ML fall in love with FL. There's a rival already prepare to battle with her for the contest & the ML. It's a short & quick drama about high school romance & rivalry. If you like this genre is a must watch drama.

in both drama:
entertaining industry,
celebrity/actor ML and common/writer/producer FL romance,
one of them has cancer,
strong, independent FL,
likable SML.

ML's are different types, also secondary characters/relationships in Fantastic are more realistic (i think) and overall more positive vibe.

Fantastic is more emotional and multilayered, in first part you think it's more comedy-positive, but second part (more 3-5 episodes) are bomb of emotions, real feelings and realistic plot/characters phsicology, actions and reactions on events... everything...

both dramas realized in same year )))

A bit similar love & heartbreak story. The FL knew that she was very ill & doesn't want to spend time alone with her sickness. When she met the ML who help her, she ask the ML to become her fake lover & she will pay them. As the process they slowly fall in love. This movie is based on Nakashima Mika song "Yuki no Hana". If you like bitter sweet romance genre I recommend to watch it.

Both titles are about pure unadulterated love for tap dancing.

Socialization is a 1-hour-long drama special set in current time. Main characters are university students.

Swing Kids is a feature movie set in korean war. Main characters are prisoners of war.

A bit similar story. The ML protect the FL from bullying & slowly they start to become friends. After some time passed they realized that they love each other. If you are a shojo manga fans you should try to watch it. It was not too bad as some people said. Some scene is cute & make your heart skipped.

different plot but both positive, (fantastic is also sad at times because of cancer subject, but same time funny), realistic dramas with real characters and relationships.

also, very similar love triangles which becomes lovely bromance - (spoilers:) when I watched HCCC I thought that I've never seen triangle like this with rival men with so healthy relationship, respect and becoming friends, but then I saw same in Fantastic, even sweeter bromance which started after love triangle. In both dramas SML is very good guy who can see when his feelings are unrequited (though in both dramas FL first liked him) and move on, like it would be in real life and healthy relationships, he can be real friend with FL and ML too and ML very much likes him, they form soo lovely bromance.

Both are about monsters/immortal beings. Bulgasal is more action/drama focused with a much darker overall tone whereas a korean odyssey is more fluffy but still touches on subjects such as death and the ups and downs when mortals meet with immortals.

not very much similar, but both dramas have very healthy positive and funny vibe (though Fantastic touches very negative subject and has sad parts it still manages to be positive drama), realistic relationships and characters, multi characters and still quite 3d all of them, without unrealistic villains (though Fantastic has very pad people as one family but still realistic ones), primitive cliches, healing...
there are no annoying love triangles, I mean it is in both drama but very healthy when SML and FL are reall good friends without broken hearts.

both are really good dramas, with one look not some new or extraordinary plot but really good watch, dramas that enjoy you (and I's saying it when 80% dramas are boring for me after 5-6 episode)

both dramas show entertainment industry and real lives / relationships behind dramas;

both dramas show quite realistic relationships / romances (TWTTLI is more realistic, Fantastic in more entertaining and good watch), without endless misunderstandings and primitive cliches.

both dramas have high class actors.
