Both series start out with an idol group that is no longer popular and no one really pays attention to anymore. I believe both FL are the leaders of the group, they struggle to make it in the entertainment world but as they meet headstrong ML, slowly ML starts to have feelings for FL.

They used to be in a relationship but separated. For a long time they meet again.
I think they both have good comedy. Of course, in this series, the girl's failure in life is portrayed more.

Childhood friends-to lovers with the ml falling first for the fl. Bickering, misunderstandings and living close to each other tropes.

"Homebodies" celebrities that don't like going out the house and prefer the safety of their own home, go on a short vacation to live with one another with cameras watching them constantly.

This season's concept is Home share, Whole share, where the members not only live together but learn and share from each other.

Celebrities gathered under the same roof and live together in close quarters as they share the cooking, cleaning and everyday chores around the house.

There is an solo artist (or an artist group) acting as the house owner and one or more others will come to rent a room. Each of them will have a lease with three terms that they want each others to do for themselves or do together. After agreeing to the terms set out, the tenant give the owner a rent (not explicitly announced), they will jointly sign the contracts and start living together. They will live together for a few days and carry out the contractual provisions, as well as create memories together as friends.

overall I really enjoyed this series and thought it shared a good number of similarities, if anyone is interested I highly recommend!!!

Both are historical and deal with children and their struggling fathers! Ecchan takes.place in 1935 whereas Always 3 takes place during the very first 1964 Tokyo Olympics!

Both are historical comedy dramas that deal with struggling artists and their children! Ecchan aka Etchan takes place in 1935 whose father is a struggling song writer who had one hit years ago! whereas in always in 1958, the father is a struggling novelist who almost won a literary award as a teen. The only difference is Ecchan is also a musical tv show and Always has the very first CGI Godzilla destroying their neighborhood and the newly built Tokyo tower in the beginning of the.film which was just awesome!

Whilst "Happiness" is primarily an apocalypse-themed drama it has a lot of similarities to "Strangers from Hell", especially in the latter half of the show where we start to see the true colours of the other residents in the building the two leads are trapped in. Both dramas have dark, mystery elements and engaging action scenes and you're never quite sure who to trust...

Both show the journey from high school to adulthood. "Lovely Us" is shorter than "Our Secret" with 16 episodes instead of 24. Both shows emphasise the importance of friends, family, and youth.

"Lovely Us" is based in a sort of older setting compared to "Our Secret" which is more modern.
