Both dramas have gentle and warm male leads who love books but have deep scars in their hearts.
The dramas have a similar feel with the script and acting. WTWIF is a slower burn slice of life romance but has a calming and sweet vibe to it, where MAW is a fantasy romcom with a cuter and more lively vibe.

It's similar because it's the original!!! Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha is a remake of this movie. <3333
Anyway hoping for Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha to be good! I have high expectations for it.

Both dramas have a male student and female teacher forbidden relationship with a lot of backlash from others. In Majo no Jouken there is sexual relationship as well.
similar struggles from the main leads, great romance and a serious plot. Workplace problems with life problems
Thailand version would be darker and developed differently, but the plot is similar. The development would change
they are inspired by the same story and have the same emotions, but i find a better develpment in Meteor Shower

They are Japanese and Chinese version of the same series, despite some differences. I prefer this 2009 version rather than 2018 one. It's more emotional, more invested in growth about the characters and more intriguing.
Both female leads have a similar way of courting male leads but their actions have different outcomes
With the second arc, the phoenix mother and dragon father just reminds me very much so of Ashes of love.
Wish granting shop open for service. Are you ready to pay the price of getting your wish granted? Because there is always a price. To sum it up both drama focus on human mind, wishes, greed and deal the question of what every person thinks as most valuable in their life. Also the boss is a marvelous witch.
The second half of AIB really reminded me of TVH. Both series revolve around an apocalyptic hotel setting and even though themes/plots are different in a sense, the dark atmosphere is quite similar.
