Well Well, there a lot of common points between these two dramas, the first is the support of each male lead to female lead , and the big support also of female lead to the male lead, wherever in the family matters or professional career matter , and we can say that both male lead let their wives which both were by arranged marriage to work and the show their face to public ( which was something unusual back then, and the society criticize the wives who work outside and they should only have to take responsibilities of their husband's house) and I really loved this fact : the husband support wife's career.
-both about mental health

-cute relationship
-Mad for each other is more comedic but still has touching moments
-ML lead gets the female lead out of trouble often
-Live close to each other
-hang around each other often
-cute scene and good kissing

Even if the Flu is just a movie, but they both talk about how surviving the disease wherever its a flu / Virus , and how to fight villains and fight for having a better situation more than the one who are already in it.
The Detective 2 is a continuation of The Detective 1. All the unsolved crimes continue in The Detective 2, and the romance of the leads also blossoms in the second part.
Okay, so I just finished Reply 1988.
And I'm currently watching Hospital Playlist with my mom.
The similarities are DEAFENING!
Don't get me wrong, the plot and storylines are completely different. The similarities are within the relationship dynamic of a strong friendship among a group of people that interact in the same environment every day. There are serious moments, but the comedy is *chef's kiss*. Both casts are golden.
While I haven't finished Hospital Playlist yet, I'm so excited to keep watching! (I have to wait until my mom has time to watch the next ep. Grrrr)
Reply 1988 was so amazing. I wrote a review on it right before this, so click on my page to see how I enjoyed it.
Bottom line is that if you enjoyed one, you'll enjoy the other.

Both dramas have witches
both are running food establishments
But they kinda drama have opposite feels, one has a light romantic comedic feel while the other has a dark fantasy feel.

Can we just say that every crime drama watchers must go straight right into the Light On Series because that's how it should be? In terms of how frustrating it is, I can say The Long Night is at this level.
Same police drama setting that goes against an organized crime group. It gives almost the same feel/vibe as well. Really great drama to watch if you're not over The Thunder, yet.
Both dramas look at class difference. Both have working class FL and rich ML. In both the ML is anti social and rude. Both have the FL going through bullying but not as excessive as Boys Over Flowers. I loved the vibe of School 2017, the friendship is shown really well and seems more relatable.
They have the same type of right from the whole show. Although FOE is more romantic and lighter than SM.

SIMILARITIES:
- ML and FL have a mature relationship
- ML and FL are career-focused and driven
- ML and FL are in different careers/fields (one is doctor)
- drama contains some sort of disaster-response scene/mini plot
- head-of-department in the hospital has some previous history with a side character that had misunderstandings which were amended later
DIFFERENCES:
- TCoL has hella toxic characters and focuses on character development while YAMH doesn't really
- YAMH second CP is consistent comedic relief

This drama is also a romance where video games takes a huge part. Love 020 is kind of a classic, I think that if you enjoy Chinese drama, you have to watch it at least one time.
In Love 020, the female lead is university student so if you like drama wich takes place in university, you will like it.

Another male gumiho but with a little more darker backdrop and more fantasy elements in the tale of the nine-tailed.
