Both are centered around a female lead who has to give up her first love in favor of a political marriage. The dramas are relatively heavy on the politics, but are truly driven by their romances. Despite having more focus on the drama and court scheming, both also have their fair share of action and battles. Empress Ki has more interesting characters, while the The Rebel Princess has really gorgeous production. Disclaimer: I ended up dropping The Rebel Princess, so can't vouch for the second half.

Similar feeling of a love story through different times. Both stories show scenes out of context and slowly fill in the blanks. Until We Meet Again deals with reincarnation while Some Day or One Day deals with time travel.

They are basically about a teacher that is in charge of a class that has no discipline. the teacher is able to connect and help out in the students lives and motivate them to study and think of their future.
a plus both teachers are really good fighters and end up getting into fights, which gives it some interesting content to follow.

Both of the movies are about a geeky IT employee who likes their pretty co-worker. They both don't have the courage to confess to the woman, so they admire her from afar. On a trip, both women lose their memory, and the geeky IT male lead has the chance to pretend to be the girl's boyfriend for the time being.

Another drama partially set in the past, tha has you guessing what happened to the characters and what led them to their present life.
Reply 1997 and My First Love Is Secret Love are both heavy on nostalgia, abeit they start 11 years apart.

Similar concept of promoting Korean cuisine abroad by setting up a temporary restaurant/pocha (in France for Olive Pocha and in Spain for Youn's Kitchen) where Korean celebrities do the cooking and serving.

Even though legend of fei is Chinese and descendants of the sun is korean, they still have a couple of similarities
1.the male leads both come close to death or die in a sense
2.the female lead isn't silly and is actually mature for once
3.both of them have very high rankings in my personal fav list ( descendants of the sun being 2nd fav in my korean list and legend of fei being 2nd in my Chinese list )
You shouldn't mind all the bad reviews as both the dramas are amazing in their own right
