Both movies share the theme of a young guy sent to prison who is given a hard time by other inmates

Honestly the stories are so similar, it'd be better off listing how they're not similar.
Both essentially have the same storyline.
FL is crushin hard on the ML
FL follows the ML around
ML is an intelligent nonchalant type with a female fan following
FL is a bubbly warm no so bright girl who tries hard, but keeps getting herself into trouble
and the list could go on forever

These both have a 'serial killer' living like normal innocent people. The basement is too familiar to me when I watched Flower of Evil.

Satoru Fujinuma is an unpopular manga artist, who doesn't like having relationships with other people, although he also works part-time delivering pizzas. Satoru has the special ability of "revival", that allows him to go back in time before terrible incidents occurred and right whatever wrong occurred. He goes back continually until the incidents are prevented. 18 years ago, a serial murder case took place with the victims being children. Satoru, using the body of an elementary school student, travels to that time to catch the killer and to save his mother who faced the criminal

Naho Takamiya (Tao Tsuchiya) is a 2nd year high school student. During the spring, Naho Takamiya receives a letter sent by herself from 10 years in the future. In the letter, she liked transfer student Kakeru Naruse (Kento Yamazaki). Kakeru Naruse carried emotional scars from his mother's suicide and he died one year later. 26-years-old Naho Takamiya thinks about Kakeru Naruse often.

2nd year high school student Naho Takamiya, with the knowledge of what she feels 10 years in the future, takes action to change her future.

It is about students who try to survive in the most gruesome circumstances. They both are pretty gruesome when it comes the visuals of the movie, lots of gore. Both movies are not light-hearted movies to watch.

Both are about food, love, friendship, brothers and some family secrets. But King of Baking is far more melodramatic, while Sukina na Hito ga Iru Koto is more peaceful and slow.

This Thai version is a remake of the Chinese one. Boss and employee relationship, office romance, warm FL/cold ML, etc.

There is a similar relationship between male and female leads.
The main characters have unusual characteristics.
Both groups of main characters feel like a family.

Both involve a masked hero that defies the system. Both are action oriented. The Bridal Mask focuses more on melodrama, while Kaitou Yamaneko is more about (black) comedy.

I saw similarity in the two in that in KC the ML seeks revenge from FL bcz he thinks she kills his fiance and in MBJ the FL thinks the ML is the cause of her father's death. Both go from hate and misunderstanding to love. Both are very great dramas!

Both MRA and MBJ are similar in that the the ML is a widower with a kid. There is interaction between FL and the kid which is super cute motherly love. in MBJ ML has a daughter and in MRA he has a son. Also in both we see the development of a family super cute!

Both of these dramas feature a character getting stuck in a fantasy world or a fantasy character getting stuck in the real world.
But have romance, both have cute side characters, and both have open endings.
Pop Out Boy is a light, cute, webdrama while Memories of the Alhambra is a bit sadder and was aired on TV.
