Similar dynamic between the main leads. The main male character is the boss, the main female lead is a subordinate. They have real trust between them, and when they finally get together, they don't break up.
Lucky's First Love is maybe a bit more light-hearted, but Refresh Man is also quite light.

Similar in a way that both dramas are about a group of wealthy and powerful people who would do anything to stay in power and get away from their crimes by committing murder, betraying their own, and never ending scheming. Both plot also has those victimized trying to seek revenge against the elite class. Lastly, both dramas are created by the same director and has Shin Sung Rok as a main character.

However, The Last Empress has more cute and comedic scenes and is a family oriented drama compared to Return which is more on the darker side and friendship oriented.

Both focus on Sankin Kotai and how it drains out Local Clan financial. If you're interested in this old Japanese samurai tradition, Ichiro will tells more on what is needed for a Sankin Kotai. Although there are differences between the two, where the time-line for Choukosaku was during the early implementation, while Ichiro was at a more later date.

Both dramas are expertly crafted so that the investigation slowly unfurls throughout the series until all the pieces start falling perfectly into place, making them even more enjoyable on second watching as you notice the subtle clues you missed.
Both tackle social issues.
To me it feels like they have a similar atmosphere.
Both will glue you to your seat.

While it's a different culture and time-period it still has some similar elements. Both male leads suffer from being unable to control their bodies for periods of time (sleepwalking and possession). During this time their character is completely different from their usual colder demeanor. They both don't want to be with the female lead at first but they need her to solve some personal problems related to their memories.

Round-table style discussion by Korean celebs over concerns written in by the audience.

I only watched an episode because the translator accidentally uploaded GM rather than 7.7, so not sure if all episodes are about love, but at least one episode would fit in with 7.7's theme as well.

Both FL are workaholic manga writers who are being challenged to be open to love by editors.

MOL has more situational awkwardness and stock characters rather than actual storyline while Sensei has deeper character development (obviously time length difference is part of this).

Both female leads have cancer, both male leads assume that the female leads only took advantage of them or played with their heart, both male leads, in the end, finds out that the female leads have cancer. the only difference is the female lead in Nang Rai is a famous actress who's enduring hardship from her stepmother, and there;s not much difference in the male leads they're both famous in the dramas, they're both cute.

Both similar, Both female leads being abused and taken advantage of by evil stepmother/aunt the only difference is, Mia Jum Pen , as an evil auntie & cousin. and Lhong Ngao Jun as an evil stepmother and step sister like Cinderella, both dramas are slap/kiss and some revenge in it, in Mia Jum Pen the male lead finds out that the female lead wasn't who she said she was , she was only following orders and the auntie is just being evil, and the auntie's daughter is making things up to make the female lead in Mia Jum Pen feel miserable just like Lhong Ngao Jun, both male leads are verbally/physically abusing the female lead.
