In Cheewit Puer Kah Huajai Puer Tur Male lead is an assassin & In Love Book Love Series: Secret & Summer Male lead is in a gang in both girl gets involed. The only thing is that LBLS is short (4 episodes) so its sort of rushed but all in all both dramas are interesting
Similarities: The main character likes a guy younger than her by about 10years.... the drama hasn't finished soo .... we have to wait....

It's not really that similar in terms of themes but they both have incredibly well written characters and they handle relationships well, both friendship and romantic.
In terms of Badass female leads that don't take trash from people. In Doctors we had Yoo Hye Jung and in Search: WWW, we have three.
Both shows involve half brothers fighting on opposite sides. Both showcase a strong female lead. In both, the Male Lead start without a goal, but an incident causes them to grow and become more responsible. The Male Leads also become a leader to their respective teams.
same Director and Scriptwriter, thus same vibe ( with English OSTs, beautiful cinematography )
same cast ( male lead, the mother of female lead is the same, the father of female lead in SITR now the father of male lead in OSN, and younger sister in OSN who used to be colleague in SITR, also the father of SITR male lead now being 2nd male lead's father )
same paternalistic situation which opressed the FL( in this case emotional abuse from exBF ), similar social stigma and parent expectation to their children
I just hope this time the FL can break free of those situation and handle it with maturity like adults, unlike in SITR.

It premise is different they have women as the Korean version only has men. They also have a time limit or say it says and they seem to be broken into teams. I plan on watching the first episode this weekend and I'll repost the difference later
The first season and you need to watch to at least understand the few episodes of season 2. In the first season they choose a captain at the beginning of each episode they dropped that for season 2.
a recommendation is more than just the similarities between the dramas.. for one thing, both have that different and powerful women and sismance thing.. and both dramas make me laugh really hard... both of them feel like my PERFECT drama, something 100% my style ;)
•Both female leads are the clever, strong and mature breed complete with "overly loyal sister-like maid" sidekick
•Both women are fighting for survival in an environment that is against their odds
•Both have a male lead who openly loves and favors the female lead which results in calamity
•Both dramas have the leads constantly fighting off schemes from other jealous female antagonists
•Both have some maids/eunuchs who are corrupt or betray
•Both shows have beautiful costumes and scenery
DISCLAIMER: Ruyi takes place in an actual royal harem in a totally different period and THERE IS NO REVENGE PLOT/IDENTITY THEFT. Also the male lead in Weiyoung is 100 TIMES BETTER than the one in Ruyi character wise.

Ok I know these two don't seem alike but both these films are character studies that delve into the mind of screwed up people. Both have a transgressive feel with moments that will make you feel uncomfortable but it's going to be worth it in the end. In Burning the emphasis is on the strange relationship between Yoo Ah In and Yeun's and the girl despite having a third character of the girl they both desire and Middle School Girl A is about Hwan Hee and Suho's relationship even though she has a boy she really loves. Because neither of them are lovers but practically strangers.
Both have characters that you'll get invested in. Both have messed up stories that say something about the human condition in a unique way. Showing you both heartlessness and sacrifice.
Both are atmospheric thrillers with heart with a heavy psychological aspect and similar Korean countryside locations.
