Similar storytelling and development, as there are time gaps in the story. The relationship between the main characters is kinda similar as well. Also Kasumi and Kentaro appear on both films.

Both have people in the past who were frozen and then wake up in the present. And of course, that frozen time comes with side-effects...

I just want to recommend these for each other because I think their comedy sense are pure gold, these days I don't find much comedy genres funny, but these two make me laugh until I cry :)

they are both "office/business" comedies.. both main male leads are the "not good" types, but in the end both end up doing something to help others. and the comedy sense is really similar too

All of them talks mainly about the relationship between a stranger and twins. However, stepfather step contains action while marumo no okite is more realistic “except the dog part”.

In both of the dramas the female lead first forced by their mother to play piano and at the end they also realise that they love playing too. Parents- children feud can be seen in both of the dramas.

I am surprised nobody recommend this they have very similar feeling
the story is around the three women and their lives, the romance.
Each of them are different and are in great relationship like sisters.
Both stories are funny and deep at the same time.
You can relate to scenes thinking 'same' or 'mood' or are just reminded of you and your friend.
Both are easy to watch.
I also recommend other seasons of I need romance (it isn't continuing series but same type series with different friends and stories).

If you enjoyed the male lead Yang Yang, the computer game aspect, and the strong friendships of Love O2O then you should really watch The King's Avatar. Yang Yang plays the male lead of this drama, and they are similar although not exactly the same. The gaming aspect, which was a huge part of Love O2O, is also a huge part of The King's Avatar. And of course, there are so many strong, healthy friendships in The King's Avatar just as there are in Love O2O. Of all the shows I've watched so far, I think The King's Avatar is the most similar in vibe.
