-Romcom with a cute, mature romance that isn't bogged down with unnecessary drama. Drama is solved quickly and doesn't drag on ridiculously like most other dramas.
-Love triangle never really develops and gets in the way of the main couple.
-Amazing kissing! Not just the lip touches like every other drama I've seen. Real, in love kisses.

Both revolve around crime and justice, and neither focuses on romance. Both dramas contain a character(s) with a mysterious backstory. The big and obvious difference is the supernatural element brought on by "Vampire Prosecutor."

- angel/gumiho helps their beloved in their work of field, which they are very passionate about
- a non-human that desperately wants to be a human

these two dramas are really similar! if you love ashes of love, then you will love eternal love. vice versa. both are INCREDIBLE dramas that you should definitely give a chance watching.

here are some similarities:
> same type of fantasy/historical/wuxia genre
> both have a mortal and immortal world
> both have multiple realms in their world
> queens, princesses, emperesses all that stuff
> both of the female leads actually dress as a male for a short period of time
> both have undeniable chemistry between the leads
> both have that annoying female second lead that chases the male lead and will not change their mind about loving them
> almost have the same length of episodes
> great OST
> they both have the female lead living two different lives still falling in love with the male lead
>amazing acting
>great costumes

differences:
> ashes of love is more comedic
> ashes of love has a more naive and cheery female lead while eternal love has a more mature and serious female lead
> eternal love focuses more on the antagonists

i personally liked ashes of love a lot more because i connected more with the characters and i just loveee jinmi x phoenix soo much but i loved ye hua and bai quan so much too <333

If you like this drama, you might wanna try to watch this. It's the Japanese remake of In Time With You, so the plot is pretty the same as the original.

Same feeling for me, story is different but if you like action/crime with a little romance than you will like this one as well.
Bonus is that they have the same FL.

Both have are a great example of fantasy genres about ghosts. I usually like to find good ghost dramas that actually interacts with other ghosts? Instead of just one of the main leads being a ghost...

Both have strong independent female leads. Both have a similarly vibed beautiful aesthetic cinematography. And they both are my perfect example of a grear noona romance. But they both have completely different plots.

Recommendations are more than similarities between 2 dramas..
At 1st glance they share nothing in common but manwol is kinda similar to hina from mr sunshine. They both own a hotel, they have a similar taste in fashion and they are both strong female worriers though hina is slightly more "playful"..
If you loved and missed hina then this is a great drama~
Also both are really aesthetically appealing..

Both have dumb kids/ young adults entering a place that is off limits for a reason. Pretty much no happy ending BUT even though the premise for both these films are pretty much the same, GHA is much better in terms of the scare factor.

the characters both play a game of cost life. Gantz series and MotA series both contain elements of romance in gendre thriller and action.

both must beat the game itself : Gantz series (alien), MotA (game debug) and
*spoiler*
The ending is also the same as playing the lead left along (being guardian) the next waiting player is awaits.
Gantz is japanese trilogy movie with more gore and suspense which has their fans for taste of leave to imagination ending
MotA is korean drama, so people dont expect ending undone, hanging and need another SP
