Both dramas involve a supernatural/ fantasy aspect. There is a ghost in Chicago Typewriter and demons/ deities/ spirits in A Korean Odyssey. There are also a few scenes of the Japanese occupation in A Korean Odyssey. Both dramas also have a similar feeling and tone when you watch them.

Both stories focus around young high school love. They're both paired with a spectacular cast, amazing storyline, and addictive love. If you're looking for the next binge and want something from a similar genre and such, A Love So Beautiful is meant for you. (I highly recommend it either way)

similar dark tone/life episodic drama. personally i like mahoro ekimae bangaichi better, but shinjuku seven also stands out.

The main female lead purchases a boyfriend in both dramas except in "Zettai Kareshi" the boyfriend is a robot and in this drama he is a real human being :p

Both plots are about an older woman and younger guy who is kinda obedient to her thus called her "pet"...

These dramas had a very similar vibe and theme: reporters and media, the law, crimes and injustice, the slowly growing romantic relationship between the main leads.

Revenge Mystery Violence combined to form a dark thriller with one good guy detective on the side to balance things out

Both have hacking involved and deal with main characters who are trying to find the truth about something. Also, both main characters are badass.

Both have a protagonist that can see dead people, but in this case, he let's them enter his body and settle their unfinished business. Really good, a must watch!~ \(^.^)/??

Both male leads are cross-dressing as women but in the case of Bye Bye Blackbird there's not much romance, it is more of a mystery.

If you like love stories with those uber famous hallyu super stars, the show-biz world in which they take place, and the complications they entail (reactions of fans, making the relationship public etc etc etc)!
