I have only read the synopsis, but it's kinda similar to "The midnight romance in Hagwon". In both dramas, the fml is the teacher, and while the ml is the student, and yes the fml are older.

It just gives of the same vibes like 100% idk I guess the beach and some other things?

Both dramas involve detectives taking a practical approach to solving crimes (as in, staging a crime scene, taking in all clues, etc).

Both also seem to be more male-centric with less romance, which IMHO is good for detective stories. Both also involve (some) humour.

In both the movie and the drama, the FL just changes her hair. Both, are school and coming of age. In both the movie and drama, the FL falls for the popular guy. However, Zhang Ruoxi is love and TPOGUT is a highly underrated drama and a must-watch if you're craving for sweet, pure and a light-hearted show.

The same concept ( creatures that fell from the space ) the difference is in duty after school these creatures just attack humans and kill them , whereas in parasyte , the eat the human brain and control it .
